I normally consider anything under the £5 / kg mark to be a good price, so at £3.75 / kg this is a very good price.

How does it compare to the usual cheeses on special half price/bogof deals? Is there a cheese it tastes like? I will vote hot even if it was only good enough for Welsh Rabbit. :)

Great price, heat.

I suppose that it's a decent price to use for cheese on toast or other cooking, but lets be honest, cheddar in any shape or form is the "Watney's Red Barrel" of the cheese world; generally bland and inoffensive with no potential for giving that wow effect that so much other cheese does. It's time our supermarkets started promoting superior English/Welsh cheeses instead of constantly reinventing cheddar under different guises with some quaint sounding rural name.

daggnamit! I paid 4 quid for two in overpriced Sainsburys' last weekend...

Have to say, the cheese is pretty darn good.

It is a very nice cheddar. Miles better then the more expensive rubbish tasteing supermarket ones. Got them for the 3 quid last week.

I actually really like this cheese. I'd normally go for a strong Canadian if they're on offer, or fall back on the Cathedral City / Pilgrim's Choice. This cheese is deliciously creamy, and has a very pleasant feel to eat. Definitely worth a try for the cheese lovers!

Is this definitely nationwide?

There is a massive ASDA advertising billboard outside my work with four cheeses on it saying "2 for £5", this is one of them.
