Looks like a good deal to me, even if only used a couple of times in the garden over Summer or at festivals!

Wynnster Pharaoh 4 - 4 Berth Tent: A flysheet first pitching family tent that's comfortable, durable and easy to assemble.

All materials are fire retardant and the tent is supplied with a repair kit to carry out emergency repairs. The steel poles are set up with a colour coded system for ease of assembly and also have groundsheet clips and coded bedroom hanging points.

There's total reinforcement of every part of this tent - even the peg eyelets have back tack stitching and several layers of fabric for strength.

The Pharaoh benefits from secondary mesh doors that allow light and air into the living area while stoping insects and dust from invading your private space.

The groundsheet is perfect from all water and muddy patches from pitches to fields - made from a durable polyethylene and in a bathtub style for total protection.

A superb family tent with a spacious interior and removeable bedrooms for summer trips away.

Looks like a great deal! Cheaper than a couple of nights B&B with the kids!

Bought this Wed, and it was delivered Thurs!! It's MASSIVE!

It comes in two boxes - one is the tent in a giant holdall that would fit me; the other a bag of metre-long poles.

It's a bargain, but at 5metres by 4metres and 38kg, it's colossal!

Now that's what I call a tent!

Does anyone know if campsites have size restrictions on tents for pitches?

Always best to 'phone in advance to check, but I don't think you'd have a problem with this. We've got a Wynnster Indus 6 which is MASSIVE. Yes this is big for a 4 berth, but there are much bigger tents out there so you shouldn't have too much of a problem.

Most pitches tend to be about 10m x 10m. We have a big tent 5mx6m and have never had a problem getting a pitch big enough. :)

Ah great - that's put my mind at rest! I keep saying to my husband "Do you think it's too big?", and he's of the opinion the bigger the better, hehe!

It's a quality tent, though - would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a large tent. It says 4 berth, but you could probably sleep 10 in it, easy!

Great Bargain.

Since it's sold out, does anyone know any good deals on a stormproof 2 person tent ? All the 2 person cheap things look like they'd fall apart in a gust of wind but the storm proof ones are really really expensive !

These don't look bad for the money... Outwell Jersey - http://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/tents/5709388004949

Or if you want to spend a lot more: Vaude Taurus - http://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/tents/4021573033741

Have to agree with your husband - big is beautiful!
We have a Royal 8 berth which is about 8m x 5m and we've had trouble getting onto some sites because of the size.
I'd advise checking with them first, although you might still find if you turn up on a busy weekend the pitches available can't accomodate a really big tent, depends hows well the site is managed.
On the positive side, it's great to have all that space for the kids - especially if the weather isn't great (like it wasn't for the whole of last summer!!)
