Don't think zavvi deals are allowed anymore. Would've been nice for whoever expired it to give a reason though.
#2
why arent zavvi deals allowed anymore?
#3
I'm not sure, just remember reading it on another deal.

In a nutshell.....
Zavvi (online) are now part of The Hut Group and are totally fine to be posted
Head, bought/took over a lot of the Zavvi stores and are also fine to be posted
So, Zavvi as it was is now part Hut/part Head; who are not at all connected.
Is that clear at all?

at the risk of sounding pedantic;
why do people buy "arcade" model?
with vouchers freely available from this site you can get a model with that all important hard-drive for similar money, eventually people are going to need to save a game, or may want a "custom soundtrack" the "arcade"model should be phased out, as eventually that would lead to a reduction in the cost of shipping hard-drive included models, the big M must realise that by having so many different models available it only serves to alienate and confuse the buying public?!:oops:

You get a 256 MB memory unit with the Arcade 360, this is enough to download the new dashboard and updates for games. Unless you have 100+ games it will also be fine for game saves on top of that. People may buy the Arcade because the Pro 360 is around the £160 mark at the moment making this a saving of £54, that's £54 towards some games. GTA IV and Gears Of War 2 can be had for £20 these days, just to name a couple. The Arcade is perfect for the casual gamer or youngsters who will not play online. If you desperately need a HDD you can pick up a 20GB HDD for £20-ish on Ebay.

Have you tried playing a game from a DVD? Mine sounds like a plane taking off. The noisiest drive I have have ever heard and that includes faulty ones! My mates is even worse. MS build quality makes Grundig look good in comparison.

Worth noting that some game saves can be up to 10mb each..
I have 800mb of Oblivion saves, but that's just because I save loads to go back and try different ways to accomplish tasks :D

You'll want a hard disk for any downloadable content too.. pretty sure you can get a 20GB disc cheaply now though?
