Just grabbed one of these for my son to go with his bargain xbox!!

Join Tak in an epic adventure, as he must learn new Juju magic to recover the Staff Of Dreams and defeat Tlaloc once and for all. Tak's role in the great Prophecy of the Pupanunu isn't over. Rather, it's just begun! It's not easy being Jibolba's apprentice, and Tak's got the bruises to prove it. Now dabbling with new abilities, Tak is creating a little Juju magic of his own! He's even working on mastering the ancient Juju magic of the animals. Between possessing them and turning into his Spirit Animal, Tak's got a lot to learn. And he'd better do it fast because Tlaloc has begun his return with vengeance on his mind.

As this is the best price on the web for this particular game in this particular format, I see no reason for the cold vote which has just been left.

Thanks for posting jan :)

Hi,

I new to this site how do I vote hot and cold and what do the percentages mean? I just got an xbox and this will be the first game I want to buy on it.

A fiver for a game! Bargain.

Use the hot button on the post at the top :) As you're new the percentage mighn't move much, but you'll have more power as you become a more established forum member :) The percentages are just people's opinion on how good the deal is.

Welcome here!!

Is That What Thats For!!!

I got the same yesterday with the Goldeneye post also from Play for the Xbox at £5.99. Voted cold even though it was cheaper than elsewhere, seemingly because people think the game is no good. I suspect the same happened here, though it's only a matter of opinion - it doesn't alter the price!

I should add that there are a number of cheap Xbox games on Play.com at present suitable for anyone looking to expand on the 4 with the recent deal from Argos.

Can anyone tell me why this game below is cheaper than a used game, the new 1 seems to be cheaper, and why is this game so expensive on other websites...

Hi Hotscot. It's cheap because it's the 2003 version. I suspect you might have been comparing it with the 2006 version. That's the only explanation I can think of. It's not unusual to see new items cheaper than old ones. There are plenty of examples on Amazon where associate sellers are trying to sell used items for more than the new item from Amazon itself. Also you only need to look on Ebay to see that people pay more for used than they could get it for new if they shopped around!

Hi Merlin,

Do you own the game? and is it from an adult prospective or a childs prospective? As not only is the price fantastic for an xbox game but it is also for a nine year old and just concerned that your views may be from an adults point...

Why is it £31 @ http://www.play.com/play247.asp?page=title&r=XBOX&title=106314&P36=4KJS7F

thats what confusing....:?

I didn't actually pass any views on the game itself. I was pointing out that the reason for the cold voting was probably down to people's views about it, not the price. This is wrong, but exactly what happened with the Goldeneye game deal I posted yesterday. As it happens my 11 year old son has it and likes it. It's not the best RPG on the Xbox, but you can't go wrong for the price.
#18
You're right - it is the same version. No reason at all I can think of for the price difference, but this happens a lot as well. Check Goldeneye Rogue Agent - £5.99 at play.com - £32.99 at Amazon....(and plenty of other prices in-between from other sellers!)

Thanks! Another stocking filler out of the way! :-)

Gamestation is a terrible retailer. I ordered 3 games from them in September but the games were never deilvered. Emailed them in November and they told me all the games I ordered were out of stock and that they would cancel my order. The 3 games I ordered are still on their site?

Thanks for the notification guys, clicking expired. :)

I think he is asking why is it cheaper to buy it brand new rather than used. The answer is Gamestation price things strangely as I've bought games cheaper brand new than 2nd hand.

Prices do very so much from site to site, which is of course to be expected. However, we recently ordered Quantum Leap boxed sets series 3 and 4 at CDWOW. When we opened the Quantum Leap stock list page, 3 & 4 where shown at 12.99 each & over £30 each.

So, thinking that the higher priced versions were some very special collectors edition we telephoned CDWOW. They told us that they were different prices because they were from different suppliers and we should go for the cheapest.:? How daft is that?
