X-Men Born into a world filled with prejudice are children who possess extraordinary powers - the result of unique genetic mutations. Under the tutelage of Professor X (Patrick Stewart), the outcasts learn to harness their powers and must now protect mankind from the evil Magneto (Ian McKellen). This first chapter of the X-Men saga features an all-star cast, including Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Anna Paquin and Rebecca Romijn. X-Men 2 Hatred and distrust brew between human and mutantkind. An unprovoked mutant attack on the President gives General William Stryker (Brian Cox) his long-awaited opportunity to wage all-out war against the mutants. A war that would leave only one race victorious. Xavier (Patrick Stewart), Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), Storm (Halle Berry) and the other X-Men must unite with their old adversary Magneto (Ian McKellen) to prevent a devastating confrontation that could destroy everyone on the planet. In X-Men 2, acclaimed director Bryan Singer delivers state-of-the-art special effects, explosive action and one twist after another. X-Men 2 takes excitement to the Xtreme! X-Men: The Last Stand The third installment in the X-Men films: The divide between humans and mutants has gotten to a crucial point when a cure to irradiate mutations is found. Pushing patience to the limit in the mutant community, the line has been drawn and Professor X needs to decide which path to follow. X-Men Origins: Wolverine Beastly badass Wolverine (Jackman) is a member of elite military squadron Team X. But when he tries to leave violence behind to become a family man, he finds his past catching up with him in brutal fashion - not least his carnage-loving half-brother Sabretooth (Schreiber). X-Men: First Class See how it all began in this thrilling first chapter of the X-Men saga. Before Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr became Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Before they were enemies, they were the closest of friends and gathered an elite team of mutants to form the X-Men in an attempt to prevent World War 3! The Wolverine This stand-alone epic-action adventure set in modern day Japan reveals the untold story of Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), the most iconic character from the X-Men universe, and evolves the character saga to new levels of depth, intensity and visceral action. Out of his depth in an unknown world he will face a host of unexpected and deadly opponents in a life-or-death battle than will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than ever before. X-Men Days of Future Past The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-Men: Days of Future Past. The beloved characters from the original X-Men film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from X-Men: First Class, in an epic battle that must change the past – to save our future.

Been looking for this! Heat added and purchased! 7 Blurays for £19!
#2
good find op, heat added :)
#3
Really good price, considering it is the 3D Days of Future Past. I'd only just bought the previous box set or I'd jump on this one too.
#4
Just came here to post this. Excellent price considering this includes Days of Future Past. Purchased.

I already have the 6 disk blu ray Adamantium Collection but I have just bought this too because I want the new movie and it is included in 3D plus I get a new collection all for only £18.99. It seems unnecessary to duplicate the other movies but the collection is cheaper than the movie on its own. I'm also happy because the Adamantium collection has the extended 3D Wolverine movie. Buy it its a no brainer :)
#6
Bargain. No 3D Wolverine though.

Hot, Hot, Hot - ordered straight away:) Thank you:)

How do you do that? Amazon payments usually come from my bank. Do I add a MasterCard and put that as the main payment method?

Just add it, it doesn't have to be the main method though. Just select which card you want to use at the checkout :)

As I don't have a credit card, I used my pre-paid euro travelcard (mastercard) and paid in euros (Amazon converts the payment to euros automatically - so no currency fees).

Total cost was 25.05 euros (if I re-buy the euros it would cost me £19.98 - so I still saved £4)

I got a PayPal access card about 6 months ago. Noticed that it's MasterCard so managed to use that (just comes out of my PayPal account) I've also used it at zavvi, as they charge for normal PayPal payments, use the access card and no charge! It's coming in quite handy now!

I can't see anywhere in the spec that says Days Of Future Past is 3D version, usually it specifies that it is a 3D Blu-ray set. How can I be sure as this is the main reason to buy it! Still even if it's just blu-rays gets my vote!

Any cheap bluray player deals going? Been meaning to get one for a while and this deal is pushing me

depends what your after, a 3d blu-ray player is easy enough to get for less than £60

a samsung one here for example for £55 (been a bit cheaper before but still a fair price)

http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00IZAF1T2/

a standard good make of blu-ray player can cost around £40 or so. id just rather pay the bit extra for a 3d one. means you don't have to double dip if you ever get a 3d tv (if you've not got one already)

Why do Amazon print two pictures of the front of the bluray box? It's the back that shows all the details

tbh I've got no interest in 3D I remember it being a fad/gimmicky in the 90's similar to it now and I were glasses for long distance so not a fan of the idea.
But for the money getting a 3D one would make sense just in case.

i wear glasses for long distant to, but i know my samsung 3d glasses i have just go over the top of my glasses and i use em just fine like that. dont obscure view or anything.

the modern stuff isnt like the old paper glasses 3d you got in the 90's. just if you enjoy your films n stuff just to give another element to your viewing experience.

some things are much better at it than others but i just see it as an extension of blu-ray by adding to the clarity with depth of picture

I don't think this particular box set has any 3D versions, there's nothing on the box or in the listed details to suggest there is. It just says it's a blu-ray box set, no mention of 3D.

well the review says it does and thats enough for me. the previous one has a sticker on the front cover saying wolverine is in 3d. this just doesn't have a sticker on that picture. maybe when you get it it has a sticker on saying that *shrug*

I have never seen a 3D blu-ray (single film or set) not indicate this on the front of the box. I'd be really surprised. I know there is that expensive version of this set with the plastic helmet which has both 3D films but that's clearly indicated... Since the details don't mention any 3D versions would be a bit of a risk to get it for that.
