Ouch, didn't expect it to do so bad...
#2
extremely cold... for the price you could buy a reclining sofa seat and a 5.1 home cinema system
#3
I wouldn't buy one either, but this is a good price for this item. Cheapest elsewhere seems to be £331 and £450-500 everywhere else. It's the deal, not the item?!
#4
It's still not cheap - but good discount at least...

Don't really see the market for it? I mean, who's gonna want it?

Families? No.
Single blokes with their own place? Doubtful, they'll likely have a decent sofa and hifi setup. (I do!)
Single girls? Pretty unlikely I'd have thought.
Kids? Yes .... but how many of them can afford it? Not many I'd have thought. And not many parents are going to lash out several hundred so little Johnny can have this monstrosity in his bedroom.

Which just leaves ...... neckbeards living in their parents basements! :|

Don't really see the market for it?

If you search for X Rocker chairs on HUKD then you will find numerous other models, of which aren't as 'deluxe' as this one, ranging in price from £50 - £200.. there appears to be a market for these as many seem to have purchased and liked the product.

Hence, the deal was posted (like every other deal on here) because of the significant reduction in price that is on offer and to help anyone out that has had their eye on one of these for a while, that is all.

I don't dispute the price reduction, and I have seen some of the smaller ones .... which make some sort of sense as something you might buy for a kid. (Although a girl I work with, her other half is in his late 30's and he wanted one of the smaller ones .... but no way she'd let him buy this!)

I just don't see who would want this one. Would you?

The point I was making is that anyone with the space and money for this would probably not want it in the first place! Hence not seeing the market for it .....

What does it matter if you don't see the market for it or not? This isn't Dragon's Den... I'm not a salesman working for Argos trying to pitch this item to you.

As I said in my last comment, I posted the item on HUKD because I noticed the price reduction, as it represents a significant saving off the RRP - which stacks up against every other retailer that sells it online. I recognise that it still isn't cheap and that it is a considered purchase.

In essence, isn't this the main basis of HUKD, to post links to 'Deals' and 'Voucher Codes' that reflect reductions and savings? As you pointed out, you aren't disputing the price reduction, so why not just leave it at that and keep your opinions on whether Argos may sell 5 or 105 to yourself?

If you are so bothered about not seeing the market for it, why don't phone Argos and ask why they have decided to take some of these in stock and put the product in their catalogue?

Because it's a free country?

Sheesh! Its not as if I said it was a bad deal or insulted your family or something! If someone wants to buy it, I'm sure they will .... regardless of my comments. (After all, it IS a good price!)

Mind you, the temperature of the deal and lack of people commenting otherwise would also imply that I may be right ..... :{

You are an idiot. Period.

I've responded to your comments twice now... and you still don't get the point I am making.

Bore off you loser and go and comment and moan on someone elses posts. It's people like you that ruin these forums.

Listen mate, it's no wonder you are single coming out with sentences like:

"Not many parents are going to lash out several hundred so little Johnny can have this monstrosityin his bedroom."

Is that the sort of stuff you come out with down at the pub?!!

Like I said, bore off and go and worship your 'decent hifi and sofa setup'!!! Haha!

These chairs are awesome I have owned one for 7 years now. Very well made and nice bass and sound. Also very comfortable and piratical. My pc monitor pivots around so hovers over my lap with mouse mat on the right rest and its very comfortable for gaming. Also have a plasma tv on the wall in front of me. Thats the market for this chair in case anyone is wondering. Why sit at a desk and game after a long days work when you can chill on a recliner and game in perfect comfort. Now looking to buy another.
