I got one of these recently for my daughter's birthday. It's very robust, which is just as well because it is impossible to control; it gets airbourne then hairs off in a seemingly random direction.

That said, my daughter is still persevering with it and therefore it seems worth the 19.99 I paid. If you can get it for less, then even better.

You have to be gentle with the controls and make sure you use the trim button to make sure it doesn't spin around crazily.

I think we got a dud to be honest. I've read how to gently adjust the tail to improve the control and how to use the trim button, but to no avail. Never been able to get it to simply hover. I've Even tried sticking bits of blue tak here and there (as suggested in reviews) to improve things. We've still had fun with it nevertheless.

He needs to go out and get a job and a haircut. Bloody hippy. A spell in the army would do him the world of good. ;-)

#13

The Syma Fairy is supposed to be better, but i have doubts about its plastic shell cracking. Still, ive ordered one, so i will report back when it arrives.

I have ordered the Syma fairy too, and am looking forward to it!

From the information i've gathered on the web, i'm pretty sure that you cannot get it to hover and that it always flies forward. To do that you would need a 4 channel helicopter and this fairy as well as the Picoo z types are all 2 channel. Am I right? For £9.99 one can't complain though!
