X-Waves Divx-1122 DVD Player

Reduced to clear X-Waves DVD player. This is a brand new product but due to an error in the production process, there is some slight cosmetic damage. Unfortunately this does not show up clearly in photographs we have taken but it does not affect the operation of the player.

I got one of these fropm bigpockets and it wouldn't play divx. When i call them up instead of doing an exchange they said I had to pay to send it back and they would test the player to see if it works if it did they charge me £25 + delivery.

Have you tried more than one DivX movie? Many DivX movies contain strange code (especially when converted from NTSC) and will not play on a 'picky' player. When I get one of those, I 'clean' them by converting them with WinAVI v8 from .avi to .avi and they usually play after conversion. It is also possible that the Bigpocket player is so old that it does not accept XviD or DivX v6+, which most people now use. In that case you would need to convert all your DivX to DVD or MPEG (which would be a pain).

updated with company and price in title bar for Text only users; Dunno what p&p is, I'm afraid... but it is free if purchased with a free p&p item (obviously...:) )
