Seriously, who wants to buy a second hand museum piece?

maybe those people who can't afford £190-£200 quid+ for a console and £40-£50 odd quid for new games ?

maybe those people just want a console to play some games on a £25 quid would be spot on.

or aren't they allowed to play games ?

Somebody on a budget or maybe someone who wants to play great games?
Are you for real?
I have a 360, Xbox One and PS4, these days the 360 never gets turned on. Like it or not all the great games are now on the One or PS4. Something to do with 1080p I believe.
I must be doing something wrong 'cause I'm still playing GameCube, SNES and PS1 games. God forbid the graphics aren't in HD.

Good deal. If like me you're a gamer it doesn't matter what console you play on... gaming is gaming simple.. Been on playstation since 2009 and never had a 360... bought one 2 months ago and bought all Halo games and Gears of War games plus all others that didn't come to PS... Had a great time playing them and didn't cost much at all.

It's advisable to get the Xbox 360 S over the old 360 models but even then, there's a chance it'll get the red dot of death. My 360 S got the red dot after I rebooted the console since it froze when I was watching a DVD.

I'd thought that Microsoft had fixed the RRoD issue but they didn't. It's just less likely.

Anywho, a 360 for £24.99 is a great deal even if it only lasts a couple of months.

Exactly. Kids are only the way they are by what the parents shows and give them.

A lot of kids nowadays are very spoiled with iPhones. As if a kid needed an overpriced phone.

heat from me, if a kid gets £50 at Christmas, this plus some 360 classics should last a while.

There's nothing wrong with it. And the games available for £3 ish are all bloody awesome! As for graphics, who cares? I still play Megadrive and Saturn games most days, and when the lads are round, Goldeneye 4 player on the N64. The graphics are **** by today's standards, but the gameplay kicks ass by today's standards. Today I've gone from FF XV on PS4 to playing Pokemon Yellow on my Gameboy Color. It never crossed my mind to turn it off because it wasn't HD! :)

I'm amazed at the thread comments. I hope it was trolling for banter, I really do... oO

There are loads of fantastic games for the 360, many of which can be bought for only a few pounds. There's literally hundreds of hours of entertainment to be had for less than 50 quid with this deal plus some cheap, second hand games.

Oh and "something to do with 1080p" is genuinely laughable when mentioning the current gen consoles. Remind me again, on how many games can the Xbox One only manage 900p @ 30fps (if that)?

Heat for deal btw, OP. :)

if you see an original Xbox (ie the first xbox) for £25 let me know, that would be a brilliant deal.

If they suddenly stopped making games tomorrow and given the choice i would rather own a ps3/xbox360 than ps4/xbox1.

For those deriding the 360 because the Xbox One has better graphics etc, ask yourself why, if nobody wants to play the old games, are so many of them being made compatible with the Xbox One? The 360 may not be cutting edge but, like the PS3, it was host to some fantastic games that deserve to still be enjoyed.

If you never owned an Xbox 360 and want the chance to catch up on some real classics, this is a relatively cheap way of doing it. If I didn't already own two of 'em I'd be tempted myself.

If you want to do some competition I have almost 3 times more consoles than you and I still play on 360 and PS3. Some people are not that fortunate and can only afford 360 which is still a wonderful console especially for that price. Grow up.

Use an emulator, it'll probably be better. I play Shenmue 2 on Demul with a pad (Dreamcast emulator) in high definition and it runs like err.......a dream. Piece of cake to setup too.

Anyone saying the 360/ps3 are not worth playing are ridiculous, the 360/ps3 are 10x better Purley because of the game library to back them up. However in say 5-10 years when the xbone/ps4 has an extensive game library then they will be the superior consoles.

PS: Graphics isn't everything in a game I would much rather play old zelda games than a game running at 4k 120fps that consist of a blank room that says GAME in it.

this console and a copy of minecraft will keep most children occupied for days, as people have said, hundreds of cheap used AAA titles to be had for a few £'s each too.

some people have more important things to spend £200 on than a next gen console.

And this comment shows how much of a numpty you are. Because in your mind, graphics > gameplay, right?

I bet you're the type of person that buys a new console for the latest technology and improvements. And then purchases FIFA as their first game...

Great deal however the HDD is a bit small but if you're not too bothered about backing up your disks to the HDD than Its good enough. still worth a buy either way. Heat added

Yep!, this pre-dates Microsoft interest in backing the then up & coming LARRRRRRRGE Console powered HDD's at the time, etc? (even the PlayStation's of that original era were easily topping 80GB-160GB+?, so ..... )

Alllllll has since changed, yes, but that's today, hehe, yesterday was obviously wayyyyyyy different?. :-)

I wouldn't mind one of these cheap XBOX Consoles myself mind? (for just shy of £25?, it's a no-brainer!). :-)

If nothing else, I'll use it as a very cheap TV DVD Player (which just happens to have some fancy Console Game Playing Technology built-in to it too?, NICE!), lol. :-)

kids get what their parents can afford!!!! For some an xbox 360 is better than no present at all. Do you know how many kids won't get anything this christmas? And f.y.i i am not on benefits. Have a heart some people are really struggling.

I have to agree, the games on current gen consoles aren't "all that" sure they look nice, but they really aren't as engaging or fun as some games on older consoles. biker your head is up yer bum.
