The Game £11.99 voucher trick is still the cheapest way to buy points.

Now i've got 2600pts I can't make my mind up what to spend them on. I want Shadow Complex, Battlefield 1943, Trials HD, Puzzle Quest and the forthcoming GTA expansion. The combinations of 1600/1200/400pts make it all a hassle!

Order the points and a pre-order game and enter the promotion code 'lastminute09'. Then when the points arrive log in and cancel the pre-order and your laughing.

Just a bit of advice - if you are in a hurry for your points you may want to avoid the hut. A friend ordered some and they seem to be taking a while to get here. Obviously this may be a one off occurance but may not?

The game voucher info would be appreciated too, there is lucidity, bubble bobble and south park tower defence due soon :) EDIT: info posted above ! thanks !

It should work, just double check the final screen and your email receipt. If it has failed just cancel both.

Is the 'lastminute09' code for The Hut?

I'm getting confused on 'The Game' ?

Sorry, kinda my fault. The 'lastminute09' code is a £5 off £50 code for use at game.co.uk.

I ordered from The Hut on Sept 1st, just cancelled today after they still hadn't been shipped. Sent them two emails regarding it and nothing. Was just always noted as 'Dispatching soon' or whatever it is. Only ever had problems with The Hut, but I know most people say they're great.

When i do it, it shows £5 being deducted but both items still show at their full prices even though the final bill does show £5 being taken off. Any ideas?

Can you use quidco on that Game Preorder trick ?
#16
I preordered Wet and 2100 points.

I get this message " Redemption Rules Not Satisfied " when entering that code?

That only comes to £49.98, you need to spend 2p more :-D

Might be easier if I point you to where the mischief started:

People are confirming it still works.

As long as people realize there's a chance their account could get suspended for doing this

My Quidco didn't track, but I could have botched up. However, I think under the circumstances I will avoid pursuing the matter!

The best ever deal I got from game.co.uk was PS3 remote for 23pence :-D
spammed that £100-10 voucher with reward points + quidco

Game voucher code is a good one, was even better when they had the £10 voucher few months ago :)

Now got myself over 10,000 points, should keep me going for a while
#23
i used the £5 trick a couple of times to get a cheap 2100 points card, and dead space for £5. not used it in a while though so might go for it again, cheers.

to the person who said they usually spend £19 on these cards - where from, as that is over the RRP im sure. i mean you can get 2000 points for £17 via xbox live which is cheaper than that.

Mine got dispatched an hour ago, so you must have just been unlucky

Me Too!

Although, I now can't do it on any other orders, just takes £5 off the total price.
