not a bad price, finally seeing a sub £50 difference between the 250gb and 4gb xbox's, heat added

all we need now is someone to put a Currys/PCWorld price match of this up and try to tell us its a "deal"

I think the 20% off ALL gaming including consoles and kinect is still on at Tesco. See various other threads on here......http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/20-off-gaming-tesco/875716?view=lastreadpost

purchased, many thanks for posting, used vouchers I didn't know I had, found that deal on another post, delivery to local store, couldn't get extra points code to work either :)

£12 Quidco as well?
#11
I said i'd only get connect when it reaches around £50-60, not long to go now.

Hi i dont mean to sound thick but can somebody who has already bought this tell me how this is boxed? I'm thinking of getting this and selling the Kinect + Kinect Adventures but would that mean that i'd have to sell it without a box (therefore putting its value down slightly) or is there the seperate Kinect box inside the bundle box?! Thanks in advance to anyone with an answer to this

Think it still comes with some kind of box, but not a power supply.

i ordered one at £191 earlier in the week when they put 20% through twice but this is still a good price

Thanks for your reply but why would the Kinect need its own seperate power supply? Surely it would always be with (and therefore powered by) the Xbox itself?

I didn't think MS did a 250GB + Kinect bundle? The 250GB + Kinect bundles I've seen were just 2 separate boxes.

Fat Xbox360's need the PSU, slims don't

The Kinect needs additional power from the original Xbox because it does not have the Kinect Auxiliary port that the new Xbox has.

£50-60 not even worth it! they should be £20-30 then everyone will have one and ms wud make money from selling games!

I would also like to know this? I bought the xbox at £159.20 from tesco for my sons birthday, and was gonna order the kinect bundle for my mum to give him, if this came in seperate boxes I would consider ordering this and returning the solo xbox.
#22

Very unlikely to contain power supply. The stock in store is a proper bundle (all in one box) no reason this wouldn't be.

They are boxed together, the Kinnect in the Bundle pack comes without a Power Supply, you would only be able to get around £50 after postage, by selling it. So you would effectively be paying £190 for the console, when you could just buy it by itself for £159.

No definately not.

But you can make your 250GB hard drive by using a western digital scorpio 250GB 2.5inch drive which costs £30...do a google search it's not hard takes 20 mins to do.

lol no, it's the glossy slim. The 4GB is the matte slim....

You can still do the hard drive hack on the new slims, it's just easier now since you don't even need to buy the casing you had to previously.

you could buy that, but in all honest you can shove the hard drive in bare and a bit of foam to space it out correctly.
#38
very tempted.... thinking for long time to buy couldn't resist at this, thanks ordered one. cheers

This ( 250gb + Kinect ) combo pack was only £191.20 on Tuesday the same price as the ( 4gb + Kinect ) pack but was out of stock. Gutted!! they soon changed it when they got more stock in!
But this is still a good deal.

Now Tesco Entertainment is doing Kinect for £79.99 Great deal + Quidco/TCB 8% + use codes CCPOINTS35-1
CCPOINTS25-1
and get £6 of clubcard points! Bonus!
and you can buy the 250gb Xbox 360 from tesco direct for £159.20 and use the above codes again and get another £60 of clubcard points and Quidoco/TCB and it works out even cheaper and dont forget the clubcard points are worth 3x in deals!
