These are being given away for free by MS for anyone owning a core model in anticipation of the NXE.

well my one isnt, it was bought off ebay so it may have come with a hard drive or something that they didnt sell with it but now i have to get a memory upgrade

You already get one with the arcade. Only Cores get a free memory card offered...

sorry its cold from me, reasons being the microsoft "offer" and also for value for money your as well paying a bit extra and picking up a cheap hard drive for it

Would prefer to get a 20gig drive for not far off this price personally, or less if you can find a Comet with them in stock.

Sorry, what I meant was that the arcades can be upgraded to the HDD for £12 or so?
Maybe I am completely wrong in which case ignore me :)
