The resident evil 5 bundle with a bit of thinking is involved.

XBOX 360 60GB
Resident Evil 5
Extra Wireless Controller

In Store the price of the console bundle is £179.99, on the web its advertised at £10 more.

If you have a CEX store close to you, Resident Evil 5 is £30 trade for Cash. The wireless controller can be sold on Ebay for £24.99 inc del, netting you almost another £20 after fee's, reducing the total cost of a 360 60GB to around £130, which is cheap, and a good deal i would say. :)

The bonus is Gamestation are stocking the new Jasper revision, 12.1amp 150w PSU version of the 360.

I hope i posted everything fine, its my first time!

Just kidding, the price is £179.99 thats it. What you can get for accessories is not really a deal only a chance and a pain in the ****.

Your getting a Jasper revision console with a 60gb drive for £130, i've worked this out the other way, by doing the same with an arcade and buying the 60gb access kit and it works out more money, this is the cheapest way i know possible to obtain a 60gb version at present, so i would assume that is a deal.

Reminds myself not to bother next time.

Seems like a lot of hassle here to get a deal......i've dealt with gamestation before.....con merchants......give u small change for your trade ins then put them up for sale at top prices....would not deal with these again.

You can do this with any console more like a "tip" than a deal, can be done with a PS3 bundle obviously too, but yeah wait a minute, unless you want a machine for multimedia streaming isn't the purpose of these machines to play video games? Sell them all and your left with little, unless you buy a PS3 as there is little in the way of games currently anyway.

The deal is that package costs £179.99. What you want to do with the package after that is up to the individual, I'm pretty sure there are other packages out there where this would be possible.

Voted cold as there is not an XBOX 360 being sold at £130......
#11
baconn, there will be a few who will benefit from this, however, the majority will, unfortunately, give you grief and cold votes.......

Stick with it

OP - have you a tip on how to play the machine without a controller?

Yeah you'd use the extra wireles pad that comes with it. As posted in the item description.

I used to read these posts to get away from the mrs nagging for an hr or two but these days its better to be around the mrs than listening to you girls bitch at each other

just my 2 cents

I don't know how you work this equation out, your still getting a full 360 60gb package for £130.

With the other controller thats bundled with the 360 60gb package perhaps? ;-)

You would actually sell the Extra wireless pad because thats the black one, but as we all know the 60gb version comes with a matching white wireless pad also.

I did also do the maths and do this with other 360 bundles both arcade and 60gb with different packs/games and this works out the cheapest way, because of the new bundled game title, and controller. However its been expired so no point me continuing.

I find it very difficult to believe cex will actually give you £30 cash for RE5 as getting any cash out of them is a mission.

My CEX is 11ft from our local GS, GS offered £25, CEX offered me £30.

Last time I checked they were giving £36 trade for Resident Evil (cex) so get Gamestation to beat that by a £1 and theres £37 trade in for Resi.

I havent had any trouble getting money out of CEX before, so must be store specific for some reason. I use the Middlesbrough one, I would never buy from there as the prices are ridiculous, the only time I have bought is when I got £46 trade for Guitar Hero World Tour instead of about £36 cash. Managed to get 3 decent games but 99% of games are way overpriced.

Is it legal for them to refuse to give cash when they advertise it on website and instore?
