Jasper is the latest core processor used in the newest 360's, they are supposed to be more energy efficient, quieter and less likely to suffer from the RROD than current models.

According to the net the best ways to tell if it’s a Jasper core include:

150 Watt power brick
12.1A Amperage rating
Lot number 0843X or later on the label
Team FDOU on the label
And a manufactured date after 23/10/08 (unverified)

How the hell will what someone in another town/city gets reflect whatsoever what your local ASDA has in store. Go and ask them yourselves for god's sake :whistling:

This.

And what majaboll said. Although I hear the team doesn't really matter now.

Great deal - wouldn't you get about £30+ for the games at Game? If you do then it's blinding - I'd deffo trade both of those in, Prince of Persia is ok but it's soooo ludicrously easy it makes it a nonsense.

do you have to buy something when you exchange @ Game or do they give money?

Thanks, I got this deal from asda yesterday, and managed to swap the games at another asda for two games that I wanted (fifa09 and Tomb raider)

you can probably ask for a refund for both games and then you'll have a 60gb xbox for less than £100

They give you a gift voucher (I don't think they give you the option of cash)

Just got one from Adsa in Hounslow, it was not advertised anywhere so asked the guys on the counter and confirmed.

Thanks very much to the OP as it had not been posted would not have known.

Asda deals vary from store to store. They change on a weekly basis according to the Asda video games sales assistant. I went in my local Asda (Hulme) to find out that they had XBOX 360 with Prince of Persia and GTA4 for £177 but they had sold out. I rang another near by store and maybe they told me a load of cobblers but they said they cannot offer the same package as it was not on their system.
#21
Did you guys definitely get a 60gb premium and not the 20gb

As I have been in to Asda last night as they mistakenly gave me a 20gb rather than a 60gb, it would be great help if you could comment and better still if someone could post a receipt
#22
It was the 60GB bundle

Both my brother and I bought one so I am 100% certain its the 60GB
#23
took mine back got argos deal :D i want the elite now tho NEVER HAPPY!
#24
