It can be useful for gamesaves, especially for those swapping HD's on a 360 without the migration cable

great price for a normally overpriced accessory - should be free with all console for a limited time so MS can get rid of extra stock - surely nobody is paying the RRP of approx £22 for one of these.

FFS I just bought one from Game second hand for £7.

handy to test early release games on an offline profile, thus leaving no trace on your console

:? Get a 256mb on ebay for close to that.

Have to agree these are a joke lol. I bought a 64mb one a while back, can't even fit all my gamesaves on it lol.

Good price on this but i'd highly recommend a 256mb instead.

It’s a decent price if you’re looking to transfer saves/profiles, although I would avoid it if you do not own another storage device for your Xbox 360.

Anyone who owns an ARCADE (Core) console may be entitled to claim a free 256-512Mb card from Microsoft. Failing that, they give you the opportunity to purchase a refurbished 20 GB hard drive for £13.

(All you need is your Serial Number and Console Id to check what you’re entitled to)

Details of the games you play are stored in a file called secdata.bin in the 360's internal NAND memory, so that's not a foolproof method of avoiding the MS ban-hammer.
