I considered buying this in the past in order to avoid wearing a headset on my head, which makes the coolest person look geeky but with this, you can put the speaker whereever you want and you can communicate on xbox live freely.

Now this is available at just £5.00 delivered and go through Quidco to receive 4% cashback making this just £4.80 all inclusive, which has an RRP of £14.99 and was previously £11.99 just moments before.

1) Two-way Xbox 360 Live communication device removes the need for headset during online play.

2) Powerful integrated Speaker, Microphone and Volume Control
Compatible with Xbox 360 wireless and wired controllers

3) No batteries required

Hope this helps. :)

Voted hot, and ordered (2% quidco)

This will do the job until a good deal appears on the wireless headset, just can't bring myself to spend £30 on one and my wired one is held together with cellotape :giggle:

cheers, ordered, repped and voted hot!

cheers, I'm already fed up with the headset after only a week! I value my hair! ;)

Time to get this bad boy!

If anyone wonders, it plugs into controller directly

Hi mate,

I'm the same, we have 1 wireless headset but we normally require to charge the headset through our gaming session and the wired one keeps breaking (ours has been super glued on a few occasions but it's broken again) so this will be a great back up. :)

Actually cashback from Play.com is 4% despite Quidco stating 2%, check your cashback and i guarantee it will appear as 4%, as this has come through for me on several occasions including last night when i ordered pro evo 6. :)

I feel the same, the wired headset sometimes feels irriating on my ear when it rubs against my diamond stud and occasionally pulls on my hair when i take the headset off.

Thanks for the rep NRPS1 and Bigup, it's greatly appreciated and spurs me on to continue looking for deals for everyone and a thank you is always nice from the people that don't want to leave rep. :)

I assumed it would be placed on a table or something but it makes sense for it to plug into the controller for it to work without batteries and looks smaller than i assumed, so it's all good.

I have one of these and if I am honest its not very good when you are transmitting your voice - might just be mine, but other players were whining about its lack of quality. Cracking idea though and is a treat to use!

Sorry realfreindlyman
Voted cold this item is the worst thing that was ever invented for the XBOX 360, when used live everybody complains. I would not wast your money even if its is only £5. I posted it previously for £7.99.

I also concur with the above, I bought one about 3 months ago and they are awful. The sound from the speaker is fine, but the mic is truly awful. Youll get lloads of people telling you online to switch your mic off as it causes interference or it generally bad for picking up your voice. Ive just ebayed mine but i have no takers so far at 1p lol

That seems a bit harsh, you shouldn't have to talk to be able to play!

Xbox live is missing an in game typing function for those who don't wanna talk on the mic.

I agree with the others itis the worst thing ever for the 360 ours was binned after a few hours.Absolutely terrible reception- no one can hear you plus you get feedback. You would be better using a paper cup to try to talk on 360 than this- if you get it be prepared for everyone to drop you from their freinds list as they can never hear you .

Nearly got bad rep for flebaying mine, it is not worth the hassle for £1.20 (not including postage), imagine how you would feel buying it. I ended crediting the £1.20 back.

I have one of these, the mic is terrible IF you use it in a wireless controller, I don't know why but in wired controllers it works completely fine (maybe the radio waves from the wireless interfere with the mic?)

Only buy this if you're OK with wires!

I have heard this about them, I use wired pads so should be ok.

Same, I've got a wired controller.

I presume it varies how close you hold towards your head.
