Xbox 360 arcade for 93.61 at HMV tax free. Found at Gatwick airport.
This is applicable to anyone flying through Gatwick airport, or knows anyone whom works at Gatwick (possibly available at other HMV tax free).
Tax free is applicable to everyone.
If you are flying within the EU, and returning to Gatwick, you can collect this item upon your return.
Found this today whilst working (no, i do not work for HMV).

Valid at all airports. Good deal, but again, very limited who this applies too. On that note, why did the COD:MW2 deal for £25 in Scotland get so mega hot but the HMV Heathrow/Gatwick specific deals usually go very, very cold? Makes very little sense to me.

how exactly do you collect it on your return? isnt the shop airside? when you return you are funneled through customs and cant get back to the duty free area-are they setting up some sort of collect area elsewhere? what if your flight gets back at 3am-manned 24 hours?

I suspect a game will be mega hot cos you can buy it and stick it in your pocket and bring back easily but a large item will not cos you are hardly likely to take a ps3 on holiday with you.

You collect after customs. If you retrun when it is shut, they will phone you and arrange a free courier to your house.

How can it be classed as Tax Free, if you are travelling in the EU tax is payable. Why dont they just say we are reducing it by 15% or whatever.

Well, several game and DS offers have gone cold too. The hypocrisy is rather funny.

No, duty is payable. You do not pay duty on this type of item, only VAT, more commonly called tax.

If you are paying £50 for a harddrive then you are a idiot. And you dont have to have a harddrive AND there are prob alot of people who will be replacing there old 360's so will already have all the extra bits.

I bought my son one last Xmas, and he's been happily playing it all year with none of the above.

I've been perfectly happy with my arcade 360 since I bought it last year, and even the 1 month free gold membership hasn't tempted me to start using it online.

Although I did sort myself out with a 250Gb hard drive for £50...:whistling:
