your just quoting random prices. you dont need a wireless adaptor if you can just connect it via ethernet. and you can pick them up for £30 not £55 also if you want harddrive etc you might as well go for the elite rather than a arcade and a harddrive as you can get a elite with 4 games 2 controllers for £195

you can pick up 2 rechargeable battery packs from hmv for £8 and xbox live is £27 on ebayso in theory you can get xbox live an elite 2 controllers 4 games and 2 rechargeable battery packs for £230 which is the same price as a than a 120gb ps3 with no games

Any reason for posting that, or did you think you'd just start badger baiting?

Not everyone needs wireless (by the way can the PS3 support 802.11N? without paying extra for an adaptor)? Honest question, don't know the system specs.

Cheaper to buy rechargable batteries than **** about with the play and charge, as for the hard drive can't comment much on that but got a 120GB for £27 from HMV last year.

Voted cold because it should be made a lot clearer that this is an Arcade (e.g. in the description)

If you pay £55 for wireless you're an idiot they can be had cheaper, besides wired is better.

£55 will net you a 120gb hard drive.

Rechargable batteries x 4 can be had for under £10 with a charger as can the official play and charge kits.

most iv ever paid for online was £28 for 13 months. £2 a month roughly and it's worth it. I'd pay for PSN is it was as good as Xbox live, had as many people playing and had as much content

Hmm bought this the other day with the four game deal, but hadn't realised that it had no hard drive, thinking of sending it back and upgrading to elite. How much and how easy is it to upgrade the hard drive on this arcade version?

Just buy the Hard Drive and clip it onto the end of the console

Some guy said that you can get a 120gb Hard Drive for £55 but don't know where he has seen that as I can't see it anywhere.

Also don't have to buy the 120gb, can get the 20gb or 60gb which would obviously be cheaper.

What's the best deal on a hard drive?

Can get a better deal than that I'd imagine.

Maybe someone else knows where to get a better deal.
#26
Ok I get this deal now. You can either:
Buy the 360 arcade with 1 good game from list and the wireless entertainment pack that also includes pure and lego batman.
Or instead you can buy the 360 arcade with 2 good games from the list both those deals being £140

If you want an elite then you can pick 2 good games from the list plus the wireless entertainment pack. for £194.77

I am slightly tempted by these arcade deals, but I have a ps3 although I would like to play forza.
The Argos deal of a 360 arcade plus forza 3 and fifa 2010 for £129.99 and you get a £10 argos voucher with it is pretty good. Im not really into football games though, and selling games to shops has never been my thing.

Cheers found it slightly cheaper at £49.99 here http://shop.gameplay.co.uk/webstore/productpage.asp?productcode=XT1431

Also found 12 months live for £25.99 seems decent to me?

Mind you it would be better to just pay the £55 to Amazon instead by upgrading the Arcade purchase to an Elite that gives the same ethernet cable, headset, but 1 months Live instead of 3 and 120GB hdd instead of 60GB. Plus you get 1 extra game. That's if someone was intending to buy an Arcade and get a hdd.
