First post so hopefully goes ok.

Blue Dragon for xbox 360 £17.99

Also 4% quidco and 2% discount with code PP-02-DISCOUNT so £16.91 in total.

I think it can be used in £9.99 trade blockbuster deal as well

Price is £17.49 actually as you can include that in the title price -- if you use this code DISCOUNT1 you get 50p off

Woah! That is cheap. Only bought this for £20 on Friday in Gamestations offer.
Can't believe how fast this has fallen.

great deal if you are looking to play the game.

a side note is that these guys will most likely send you the US version, not a problem when you play the game, however most shops wont accept it for trade.
i had to send 2 different games, 1 ps3 and 1 xbox360 game back as the 2 orders i did make resulted in me recieving the usa versions.

voted hot as it is by far the best price for buying it on its own.

i have this game and played it for a while, havent got into it yet though.

heat n rep

Good find dpb_69 :)

I highly recommend people wanting to buy it do check out the demo on the Live Market Place....if you don't take to it in that hour then forget it as it's same all the way through.

Me...I love it, and so would any JRPG & FF lovers, and have played it for nearing 30 hours so far and seems only about half of the adventure done!

Gonna buy this, I get an extra £5 off because they cancelled The Matrix HD-DVD. So £12.49 I get it for!
#8
What a bargain this is, highly recommended.
#9
£15 cash and £21 trade at choices

It looks different to the box artwork on Gameplay though!

http://shop.gameplay.co.uk/webstore/productpage.asp?productcode=XT0009&title=blue_dragon

Does that mean the game from PowerplayDirect is a US version?

No theyve just got a rubbish picture -- its pal

Ordered. Are powerplay generally good on their orders? I mean they arent like Laredoute and likely to cancel are they?
#13
That price is utterly ridiculous for such a new release! Do Microsoft still maintain the vision that 'next gen' gaming should command an rrp. of £49.99?

Edit: Great first post by the way dpb.

Hmmm well it's not worth the extra 20 quid for a better picture is it? :giggle:

I think it's a good deal if you like the demo. So try the demo and see how you go.

It shows how online retailers are having to reduce prices to sell the games that aren't shifting units. It's good for the future because we might see lower prices but I don't think most games warrant a £39.99 tag because there are only a handful of quality titles available at the moment. Roll on the winter! :)

The game had very high expectations and failed to match the hype but even so, that's an amazing price.

I bet this is the American version, just like they tried with Stranglehold and foundout it wasn't multiregion but as long as it works and you can sell it on Ebay afterwards, then it's all good. :)

Nice one OP, thank you, REP added :)

Damn, I knew the offer couldn't last long but it looks like it couldn't remain public knowledge for more than an hour. :giggle:

Lets just hope several people on the forums benefitted from the deal. :)

It seems to happen when they start making sales!

Strange eh? :giggle:
#22
I guess they might cancel like the matrix trilogy hd dvd

Microsoft's first party titles (and ones they publish) are £44.99 at RRP. The RRP hasn't changed just because this website messed up the pricing.

There weren't high expectations from what I gathered, there wasn't much hype to begin with other than because of the creators. The game more than matches any expectation or hype that did exist, however.

no point as blockbuster dont accept american versions, it would have been
£197.88 wasted unless you were going to flea bay them.

i have the game and not impressed so far, but these games usually start off a bit pants and get better once the story has been explained and you can get on with doing stuff.

This game is now £8.49

No chance of getting it at the price. Even I am tempted at that and I hate cute games! :w00t:

:w00t: Yikes - that's a misprice :)
#31
Just a thought but don't PowerPlay give customers a £5 voucher for misprices?

Haven't they done that in the past?

Yep, they did it with me. I took the Blue Dragon offer up yesterday which was £18. They took £5 off and I also entered a 50p off coupon, so got the game for £12.49.
