Was £4.99 went back up and now it's at £5.10. I assume it would have been down to £4.99 but they have added the new VAT

Still a great price.

The Xbox 360 Compatible Accessory Pack includes this and is only £4.99

Got one of these myself... the accessory pack was not in stock in my store (Lincoln), which is a medium-sized Argos.

If this is un-official, and the site doesn't mention it being an official MS product, then I'd be cautious about making a purchase. It's cheap no doubt but 3rd party battery packs are notorious for lasting a couple of hours at most before requiring a recharge. Bought the original MS play and charge kit from amazon for £9.99 last week and would reccomend that over this. Costs more sure, but at least it's reliable.

people should seriosuly stop posting these charge and play from argos deal. The battery is utterly crap. spend abit more for the official.
#14

that was a fiver at argos too, i got that one as well. All the people saying the battery pack doesnt hold its charge. I've got 2 of these and 2 official ones - its the 2 official ones that have gone dead on me, not these ones.

I bought one, charged it up, played for a few hours, left it for a few dayd and turned it on and it was flashing because it needed charging! Rubish at holding charge and only 900mah battery under the hood... its about right at that price.

you get two on ebay for £4.99 deliverd

reserved..thanks

Was £4.99 before the Vat increase as I brought two. Also you can use these on the PC to turn into a 360 wired controller unlike the MS offical play and charge kit.

Looks like some people are having issues with them and some are not, seems to me its either the luck of the draw or you are not charging right. I have an official one and a 3rd party one and they both work the same

I bought one of these bad boys 2 weeks ago, and mine holds its charge very well.

In fact i've only fully charged it once. the rest of the time, i plug it in while playing, then unplug after 30mins. seems to last ages before it starts flashing again.

How does that work then? I've just plugged my wireless controller into the pc, and it's only charging. I fired up a few games, and tried to change the control options, but the game's we're not recognising a gamepad. Do i have to install something in particular?

Not sure what the issue is there, i wasnt expected it to work but
I randomly found out when it was charging in my PC and Lost Planet 2 picked it up. Tried a few other games and they worked also. I tried this on Windows 7 Home Premuim 64bit.

i bought one of these recently for £4.99 and i must say it is excellent.no charging probs at all, lasts a good 4 hours or so. bought one from ebay prior to this and it packed up after about 3 weeks.it might not be official but its next best without a doubt.

I wondered.
When i first plugged it into my pc for a good long charge up, Windows installed a driver for it. Never tried it with a game yet.
