would this work with on an elite
#2
Where can I put the cable which connects to the tv?
#3
this replaces the cable with the tv, so you can then use the 6 cables for a HD conection, i assume the 3 cables for a normal tv or S Video or VGA, Does that make sense?
#4
I honestly dont know it if works with the elite but i was checking in ebay and its made by 4games i think it was so i will look on the manufactures website,

Cant find the info on the website about it just the blurb that woolworths has but i did see it £20 at amazon

Ok ill try it quite hard to explain but as i see it,
I plugs into the 360's output,
Then changes that output to, Monitor out put, Svideo, Optical, 6 Pin HD, and the older 3 pin out-put which is the plugs that connect to the TV (but just a 2 ended version of it) Does that make more sense (if not i will go get picture to show lol)

Also this good thing about this is as the cables come out seperate you can send the audio direct to you hi-fi or surround sound and not through the TV.

Apparantly not that good for your 360 and if your machine breaks and microsoft find out you have using a cooling system on your 360 they void your warrenty (or they did do). The cooling systems that use the 360 own power source are suppoose to drain essential power from the machine and can cause more harm than good (according to MS releases)

Don't know if these have got any better since the nyko intercooler but would not risk it and MS give you a 3 or 5 year warrenty if your machine suffers the ring of death. If anyone is interested in these cooling systems maybe worth reading stuff on the 360 forum to make your mind up. I use to use the nyko intercooler but kept getting problems so never used it after a few weeks and my 360 is still going fine

Thier are a few threads but this was the first one I found on the 360 forum, i have had the ring of death once on my launch console but the current 360's are alot better and MS are using a new chipset which has better results in stopping your machine from getting the ring of death, think the new chipset is called the falcon

Well I ordered 2 for a friend and myself since these are 15-20 squid anyways and its going to cost me 15 squid for a VGA cable from MS. So for a fiver its worth a try.

I prolly wont have my 360 till mid january so I can let my friend see if it blows his to smithereens first, after all, what are friends for?

It's made by 4Gamers...and to be honest there is little info.. there - http://www.4gamers.net/xbox.htm

just to reiterate, these contraptions (namly Nykos) have cause fires and destroyed many a 360
3rd party things like this void your warranty too

It would be a hard one for MS to prove if it brought about the early death of your 360 unless they have their own CSI lab....That said if it burns your house down I imagine getting a replacement 360 might not be high on your priority list.:whistling:
