whos buying these 360s when for an extra £30 you can get a ps3

and when will they learn people dont wanna be jumping around when playin video games
#2
Isn't this cheaper if you buy them separately? The Arcade Slim is about £150, the Kinect is £129 and you get Kinect Adventures free with it.
#3
This is the RRP price so not sure if is a deal. Not voting either way

You're missing out on the best games then.
Why don't you just sell the PS3?

I wouldn't consider this a deal seeing as this is the retail price though I will not vote either way.

If the launch of the standard (250GB) Xbox 360 Slim is anything to go by I would hold off making any early pre-orders.

Also bear in mind that this bundle will be the "Arcade" Xbox 360 slim console which will not have the 250GB hard drive. Microsoft have yet to announce a release date or price of a stand-alone HDD for the new line of Xbox 360 consoles. However looking back at the price of their range of HDDs I expect it to be on the pricey side though an alternative would be to use a USB flash drive to expand one's memory.

With that said it could be argued that if you were to expand the memory later on it *could* be more expensive in total compared to buying the standard Xbox 360 Slim and Kinect separately.

By the same token I would imagine that this bundle is therefore primarily aimed at the casual gamer, one who will mainly play with the motion controlled games, buy a handful of XBLA titles, and use the controller free interface to utilise their console for general entertainment (film + music).

Here's to hoping for a retail price war at the launch of Kinect and the bundle,
Happy gaming,
Scar

you would really choose a xbox over a ps3 for basically the same price? i have both and the only thing better about the xbox is the controller

I have both too and the xbox wins hands down for online play and the social side to friends lists, party chat etc.

PS3 has a few niggles where game updates tend to be huge and once downloaded need to be installed, xbox generally has a v.quick download and ur gaming again.

Everyone will have their preference, I bought my PS3 because i like the look of killzone 3, i really didnt get on with getting into cover and didnt really enjoy it. Bought grid to play with a mate and ended up spending 10 mins on the phone to find out which lobby/event he was in... on the xbox a simple invite or look up my mate to join his game ... simples...

anyway - i have tried them both, gaming is my preference over a gaming/multimedia platform so the xbox is for me. :)

Natal was the project name for what would eventually become Kinnect. Xbox fan boy is a bit out of date!
