Saw this on Amazon (don't think it has been posted)

Xbox 360 60GB Console + Free Selected Game + FREE HDMI Cable £159.99

Xbox 360 Arcade Console + Free Selected Game + FREE HDMI Cable £124.48

Xbox 360 Elite Console + Free Selected Game (HDMI included inside elite box) £209.99

You can add a Wireless Entertainment Pack for an extra £20!

Thanks to DavidDickinson to point out Zavvi is all old Stock.

Also i have seen the £150 Console is the PRO (20GB) not 60GB !!! @ ZAVVI

One of the best deals around for Xbox 360!

Hope this helps some people.

Agree. I think some people just can't read. Here is a little heat anyway.

This is a better deal than Zavvi for the 60GB if it is £144.48. The Zavvi post mentions the Pro (which isn't the same i.e. only has 20GB).

i have tried & tested all methods and the prices are correct! still dnt kno y its cold! PS3 Brigade been in? haha

SO if I want the free game can I get it for the price in the title? (£124.48)

Either way apparently much cheaper at Zavvi.

Was about to post this myself, as my 25 month old Xenon generation 360 has finally succumbed to the E74 error after working all that time with no problems. Good thing I spotted this post in the 'recent deals for Amazon' bit on the posting page. Though I was only going to make a bit deal about the Arcade package. £124.xx for the Arcade, HDMI cable, and a recent game such as Fallout 3, Fable 2, or Prince of Persia was what I was looking for. Was slightly confused initially by your price listing. Maybe if you simplify your description so it only lists prices without the WEP and also add in the list of what free games you can get? Then at the end say that the WEP can be added for an extra £20 to any of the 3 bundles above? Oh and also mention that Zavvi is old stock and won't have a chance of being a Jasper. Heated up.

Wtf is this cold? just because zavvi are selling a "naked " console for less. Find a better bundle and then I might vote cold.

£185.96 (just pushed it thru checkout to see if it works)

For XBOX360 60GB + Extra Wireless Controller + HDMI Cable + Kung Fu Panda + Lego Indiana Jones + Price of Persia (Best of Bunch in imho)

Sound like STEAMING HOT TO ME...

:santa:

Unlikely you'll get it on free delivery before Xmas. Amazon seem to take for ever delivering stuff. Ordered a in stock dvd more than a week ago and only arrived today!:o
#15
Actually I ordered yesterday, and it is currently between the collection and delivery depots via City Link (I have free one day postage via Prime) for delivery tomorrow :) So Prime, go for it by all means like myself, Super Saver, doesn't seem likely!

sorry if this is stupid but i thought the only xbox 360 to have a hdmi slot is the elite. if im right, why is a hdmi cable budled with the arcade and normal xbox 360 versions.

please advise

thanks in advance

All models of Xbox 360 for sale now have a HDMI socket. The Arcade has a standard non-HD resolution a/v lead, the 60GB has an additional component HD resolution a/v lead, and the Elite also includes an HDMI lead.

My 'Xenon' 360 belongs to the first generation of original 360's and does not have a HDMI socket though. But since then they have made hardware updates, 'Zephyr' introduced HDMI sockets to all 360 models, 'Falcon' lowered power usage by shrinking the processors inside, and 'Jasper' the latest lowers power usage yet again by shrinking the graphics chip.

Hi could you please let us know whether you get a Jasper and what the manufacture date is.

Thanks

Hmmm 19-10-2008, Lot-NO 0843-X. It's a Falcon going by the 14.2 amps and also by the 175 power supply (they haven't somehow put the wrong label on a Jasper and also used one of the excess Falcon power supplies they had laying around since the power socket on the console itself is the Falcon type). Still ~ 33% power usage drop rather than the ~ 40% drop of a Jasper is not that bad (based on AnandTech's figures - http://anandtech.com/printarticle.aspx?i=3472 ). Good luck in your Jasper hunt! I'll be enjoying Fallout 3 in the meantime :)

Your linked article thinks your system could still be a Jasper btw, worth doing a Power test and compare the figures listed in same article.
