i posted this in the other thread with same sort of heading but then thought this is actualy a very good deal at the moment.

on john lewis is says the package is £329.99 but click onto it and it is £299.99

add in one of the following codes

JL0207GdHousek

or

JL0307PParent

for the £10 off the £299.99

going through quidco gives you 8% off the £290 which gets you the price of £266.80

which is not bad for a premium with all the gubbins supplied.

This bundle consists of:

* Xbox 360 Console
* WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW 2007
* Xbox 360 Entertainment Pack

oh it is also free delivery within 5 working days

very good deal mate, I thought there was a £15 discount on orders over £75 in the vouchers section which would make this even better value but it seems to have recently expired but the deal is still very good value at this price and i think is the best found for straight up cash rather than in loyalty points :thumbsup:

Voted hot.

Extremely good deal tbh! Bought my xbox 360 on launch day for £279.99 on its own. This comes with 8 games and a extra wireless controller, worth the £299.99, which is actually a great deal to begin with for John Lewis and their usually high priced console deals!

Bargain!

As I mentioned in another thread, I'd advise everyone to wait. When the new 360 comes out in March/April, the current Premium will drop to £200.

It wont drop to £200 -- this is an alright offer but im no wrestling fan nor want the live arcade thingy
#6
not bad

I was told by a guy in EB that the Core version will be discontinued and the Premium will take its place, costing £200. He's usually very reliable but you never know, he could be wrong.

Id wait for the new black xbox with HDMI and a 120Gb HDD in April, also much quieter, wont sound like Henry The Hoover anymore :giggle:

This is a great deal. As for waiting till April I wouldn't bother. If you really want to save money wait 3 years then buy one.

I can't see an upgraded model coming out in April not in the UK at any rate. Even if it does it will have an "upgraded price".....

Does anyone know what the manufacturers date is on the console & if it has got the new quieter BenQ dvd drive in it? does any of the games say not for resale on them aswell?
#15
No, noone know what drive it will contain. I would imagine Live Arcade and PGR3 is not for resale.

Plenty of people sell unopened (and opened) games that have the huge "Not For Resale" banner on the boxes on eBay. They all seem to go for pretty much the same price as one without the banner so don't worry about not be able to sell them if you don't like them (or already have it) :)
