No offence to the OP but i wouldnt touch a second hand 360 with my barge pole. you dont know what the lasers like or how much hammering its had, 3 red lights etc etc however in fairness to game they have a good track record and all pre owned stuff comes with there own 12 month warranty (at least it did).

DONT HOWEVER GO TO CASH CONVERTERS LOL!!!

had to explain to them what statutary rights are not too long back on behalf of a friend for a second hand 360, and would you believe this was t the manager!............"duh statutary what?................"

No offence taken Mr Monkey, I simply thought this was a cheap price, and would benefit someone.

For example my friends are getting this. They live in a student flat of 6, and £15 per person for an XB360 is dirt cheap. Being students they dont mind that its second hand

my sons SH one lasted just 12 months ( purchased form gamestation).Luckily for him he had been sold a 2 year warranty.
am looking at selling it now as he has an Elite he purchased from Play , unaware he had the warranty.Do they sell for more than this on ebay then?

It'll be of no benefit and a pain in the ass when you've got to take it back with the red ring though.

Just when you're about to finish Halo ODST :w00t:

for an extra £100 you get a brand new elite with 2 brand new games and a 3 year warranty.

I know £100 is quite a jump but your also getting a large Hard Drive and the knowledge that it prob wont pack in after 5 hours solid gameplay

thats not to say it wont last though, i myself have 3 xboxs in my house, one of which is from release day (6 am, outside game in a big queue).

but the vast majority do go, and once gone, i dont care what anyone says, no matter what kit you buy to repair it, it will go again, and again and again and eventually will be beyond a temporary fix..................trust me, i`m a repair technician, and used to make rather a lot of money repairing consoles...........

my point is for the extra £60 or so you can get a brand spanking new one, which if it does go you have AT LEAST A 12 MONTH WARRANTY and then the MS extended warranty for ye olde faithful........i mean ring of death., plus you know its brand new and not been hammered laser-wise................

hope this helps,
