Will it work with the wheel and pedals?
#21
I dont see why not!...
#22
Ordered for use with wheel and pedals:)
fingers crossed 'compatible' means works flawlessly, nice spot mate
#23
might be best to ask them but at this price worth a go :)

Do let us know tho...
#24
Ideal for Halo 2 for Windows Vista.
#25
It's an excellent concept but I'm afraid I've had nothing but problems with mine: The wheel fails to work at all and the centre point for the joysticks on the normal controller wander terribly. I only hope that a patch is released for the drivers at some point to make them properly compatible :(

They're supported as standard in all the games that sport the new 'Games For Windows' branding. Well, within reason... it wouldn't make much sense for Company of Heroes or Supreme Commander to allow gamepad controls.

Gears of Wars PC, Tomb Raider Anniversary and new ones like Bioshock will support the 360 pad out of the box. Quite handy really.

Just in case it's useful to anyone here, you can also use this receiver (and the wired controller) if you have a Mac, using my driver at http://tattiebogle.net/index.php/ProjectRoot/Xbox360Controller/OsxDriver:)

nice one, always good when someone goes the extra mile for all the mac users who get a ****** deal where microsoft are involved...although i can't think what you'd use it for on mac, gaming is a bit limited afterall..

I use some software from 'pinnacle' think its called game profiler, anyway it lets you map any function from the pc keyboard or mouse onto any button or stick on the 360 pad, so you can use any game or even any utility on the pc with the 360 pad, absolute must if you have a pc in the front room like me attached to the plasma ;)

I got one of these so i could use my wireless 360 controller with simple games I created using the XNA Studio.

Well worth it
#32
Iv had the reciever and wireless controller for a couple of months now.

Works great with games like Spiderman 3, Toca 3, GTR2, Tomb Raider etc. Bit more problematic with older games though. But for some reason Eidos didnt think to make it (or any controller) compatible with Just Cause, which makes the games driving sections unplayable.

I remember reading somwhere you can also use the controller and receiver to work as a 'remote control'. Does anyone know where I could find the software for this?

Ok, just found it.

Its called Xpadder - and it works great. It now means I can easily connect my laptop to my TV without having to worry about using a mouse and keyboard when watch a film etc. Everything can be controlled from the controller.
