If the box was not sealed and yet all the contents inside were sealed in bags then you can presume it has either been box opened for what ever reason inside the shop, or is a customer return box opened but contents unused.
However, in my hazy memory I dont recall whether the bags inside are sellotaped or left open?
*Edit, rereading this, you can presume that during packing at Microsoft the seal was just slapped on in the wrong position and didn't seal the box*

thanks for the reply dude, contents are all sealed, ur probably right there the sticky tape was probably slapped on in the wrong position- it doesnt look as if its ever been tampered with either. just wondered though and hoped these are not refurbs or something, wondered if anybody elses box was not sealed like mine?[/quote]
Pop off the faceplate and check the warranty sticker, if it was a refurb then there could be traces of an existing sticker, and most definitely scuffs over the casing of the 360 itself. I somehow doubt it though, as summised it most likely was just the outer seal sticker put on in the wrong place
Easy, don't mod the firmware on your drive if you plan on using Live, so you don't get banned and retain the option of being able to install the disk on your newly acquired adequate sized hard disk. Less heat generated with not having the 360 drive spinning + less noise (the drive spin makes far more noise than the twin outtake fans) and no scratched disks (however you would only suspect scratched disks from mishandling and moving your 360 with a drive spinning, which would be foolish anyway!)
Ensure you have adequate ventilation around the unit, and with a Jasper you shouldn't run into any problems.
The option of Hard disk installing games is the best dashboard update MS have offered, but be careful, it is one thats taken away from you upon a XBL ban.
asked to check at till... it was still £199 and they didn't have a clue about the £99 deal....
had a few of the £15 games, but didn't have heavy rain... so got some original source shower gell and that was it...
How about naming your store then?
thanks for posting this deal-I think you misunderstand your contract tho-the information leaks they are referring to will be confidential company info, trade prices, margins etc-there is no reason whatsoever not to divulge prices such as these-its an offer for the public, its not a secret, its good publicity etc etc-this and other such forums have many members who work for the supermarkets and they post deals, prices and stores that have them all the time-there is no breach of contract involved.
is a really good price for a brand new unit
Thanks.
No there not actually. If you want an example, the remote control sockets.
You mean a whole 20 items to share between your shops thousands of visitors a week, like finding a needle in a haystack
Well not everyone is going to morrisons to get the 360 about 2-5% would know about this deal. So its not like finding a needle in a haystack
Thankyou. Weve got some cokezone points and im not sure wether to get the bluray player of there and the xbox 360s from a deal like this - or whether to just save up more points and get the xbox 360s 4gb from there.
also: is this not the pack that comes with an extra pad too? just Lego Batman/Pure is part of one of the wireless entertainment packs that comes with an extra pad usually.
funny how everyone knows what your contract says and means isnt it,these armchair experts and so on.
to a few people some companies dont like staff talking about up coming deals, unless you are in marketing.
i know it sounds stupid as you are promoting the company but its the way some work.
last company i worked for had the same thing in my contract.
alot of stores or staff wont know of this until it goes live.
Thats down to the OP why try and think you know the contract terms better?

hey Great Ape - I was not saying you are a liar - just that as its not available yet and it's not official - then people should hold off on voting. IMO
They have already broke the contract then surely by posting deal.
