Must be better bundles about, this game is far from great- has a rating of 79 on metacritic.

Gametrailers review:
It's hard to recommend Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts. It's too complicated for kids, and too convoluted for adults, If you're the creative type, you'll enjoy fiddling around with all the parts, but if you're looking for an accessible game that you can play in short bursts and make headway, then steer clear.

As for the actual price, there are rumours of yet another 360 price cut so i'd hold fire on buying one, they'll be giving them away in service stations before long.

Microsoft: No Xbox 360 price cut plans
Tuesday, November 4 2008, 08:44 GMT

By Andrew Laughlin

Microsoft has revealed that it will not make a further cut to the price of the Xbox 360 for "many, many years".

The firm recently trimmed the cost of both Xbox 360 Premium and Arcade packs, making its console the cheapest next generation unit on the market.

Stephen McGill, Microsoft UK's head of gaming and entertainment, told Videogamer that the Xbox 360 is at "a great price now" and he has no intention of dropping it again for "many, many years in the future".

Sony Computer Entertainment managing director Ray Maguire also revealed that there are no plans to reduce the price of the PS3 in time for Christmas.

No. You can rip CDs to the HDD, doesnt have to be the actual CD, could be a 'backup copy'

AVIs, no, you can play them off of a USB stick, off of a DVD or over your network if networked to a PC

- Straight-away after they just cut the price would you really expect him to say anything else?

Everyone knows business is taking a dive next year so those after bargains would be advised to give it a couple of months.

Even if the cuts aren't necessarily 'official' I'm certain we're going to be seeing noticeable price-drops - on a stack of goods - in the first 3mths of 2009.

Great price for the elite with a new release. They have already cut 360 prices recently and its outselling the ps3 2 - 1 worldwide, same software wise pretty much.

So why would they drop the price again so soon ? The ps3 on the other hand its already been confirmed the price will have to be dropped after christmas to maintain sales.

There are some very low brow unintelligent people on this site there is no doubt about that.

You know who you are :whistling:

No I wouldn't, and I wouldn't expect them to drop the price again either - not the normal thing to do when a product is selling so well is it?

They may drop again sometime next year but thats a fat lot of good to anyone after one for an xmas present.

The price of milk might come down tomorrow but I need some for my breakfast in the morning so I bought it today...simple isn't it.

has anyone actually played banjo kazooie on the 360, whats it like

Play have dropped almost all the elite bundles by £10 - I know this cos I bought an Elite beginning of last week.

I got the Fifa 09 Fable 2 bundle, was £249.99>>£238 approx after the 5% discount.

Good prices but you have to list the title and price before voucher price - it's forum 'rules'.

e.g. Xbox 360 Elite with Banjo Kazooie £219.99 @ Play + 5% off voucher + 1.5% Quidco

The fifa/Fable deal is roughly the same value tbh - and if you got them already like me their worth £20+ each for trading purposes.

I'm guessing B+K is worth slightly more for trading: £25-30. So the Elite in theory would cost you under £180 after the 5% off if you trade/sell the game.

Good price for an Elite deal :)

thanks for posting robtallica, i just had a look on the proper "how to compose and submit deals thread" and theres no mention of adding voucher to title, plus many people also dont include %% voucher in title, yet a little do. the only place you have to mention the voucher to get it for the price in title is in the description

"Description: including information about the deal, freebie, or voucher and how you get it - all the main points. Please do not just copy and paste in a wall of text, it is not necessary, as people can click through to the deal for more info."

it just makes life easier putting all the info in the main post i guess. thanks anyway never actually read that before
