Looks a decent bundle for the price, games alone would cost around £53+ so console works out to be £157

yeah but I forgot this is £10 more expensive aswell so all in all its £20 different, at £200 its a good deal, £210 is a bit steep compared to the other deal.

Can someone advise I am looking for a bundle for a 10 year old boy, its for a holiday home so no internet access, just looking for something with a good amount of games, would this be my best buy out there?

Thanks from a non gamer with no idea about them.
#9
might wait for a fifa 10 bundle or just get fifa 10 for my ps3 instead

why are 360's so cheap nowadays....is their a replacement coming out soon?

There again, this bundle has 3 games (4 inc connect) against 2 in the other - as I said, it's just personal choice

Depends on what type of games he likes, also bear in mind that you would need xbox live (internet) for downloading the connect 4 game. There are many good deals around at the moment for the 360. If you have no internet access then an arcade package would be fine as you dont need much storage for offline play, however you can download you physical game disks on to the hard drive of the elite for quieter gameplay and reduced wear on the disk drive,so having a large hard drive has some advantages.

Thanks for taking the time to explain, I may look for a cheap arcade package in that case.
#13
Looks like a good deal to me

I'd give the edge to this one, just because the games are both new. But Bioshock is the best game out of all of them. Heat added
#15
Get a PS3 instead.

If you cant find an arcade cheap you may indeed be better of getting the Elite in the long run
you can also rip music cd to the hdd
esp if you ever move the console to another location with internet access etc

About Deal - seams very decent so HOT from me:thumbsup:

Totally see your point, if you want these games but my point is this deal works out cheaper
http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/486053/xbox-360-elite-with-need-for-speed-/

NFS Shift + Halo odst = £65, console £199 so elite costs £135!

and your posted deal works out at £157 for the Elite after the price of games is taken off as its £210 so you see what im trying to say:thumbsup:

I've been playing bionic commando all week and imo its great. It's kinda a move around your enviroment in a cool way sort of game. If you like prince of persia you will like this.

Not sure what you mean about the music but yes maybe he will want to bring it home to play over xmas so an elite would be good for that, decisions, decisions - people seem to think these are good games so very tempted for my son. Thanks

Theres a lot of choice on the forum atm. Have a look about.

Most are the same price but come with a few different games.
#21
Good deal, deffo.
banned#22
The games are only worth as much as you want them for.

ODST is a complete let down, connect 4 should be a 400 point live game, bioshock is good but aged (bioshock 2 is out in a little bit), bionic commando is decidedly average.

Heated Added. Good offer.
