Yeah i went for the next day delivery option as it's only an extra £1 & you don't have to wait for 3-5 days which seemed worth the extra £1

Great Offer my son spent £179.99 on a very similar offer at Argos two weeks ago, although they also had an extra wireless controller in the pack.

Hot deal. Personally I'm waiting for Microsoft to announce that they are no longer making the 'Elite' packages anymore, so the price will hopefully plummet so I can upgrade my Arcade ^^

I might have to reinvest in an Xbox again. Great deal.

Nice price, shame its not got the extra wireless controller though.

Is MS going to discontinue the Elite then? They will replace it with a new package?
I have the Pro and just got a HD TV. The Pro does not have HDMI, just has HD and the HD resolution output is 720P
The Elite which has HDMI is 1080P resolution and so is a more better in the visuals.
I might as well wait too then till they bring out a newer package and then get it and sell my Xbox 360 Pro

probably in preperation for the xbox 720!!!!

which will be awesome!!!

I think there are a lot of rumours going round at the moment as both Sony & Microsoft are delaying next gen consoles due to current economic conditions. Don't expect PS4 or Xbox 720/1080 etc anytime soon.

I think that Microsoft might be trying to make room for the Super Elite which may become the only Xbox 360 available new. All will come with 250GB drives as standard but no HDMI cable included. The shortage and discounting of 120GB drives seems to suggest so - as is the discounting / bundling of Elites

I could be wrong but from reading on other forums its not a case of a whole new product in the near future, but a streamlining of the console hardware with just one product (all Jasper boards and a 250GB HD) i.e. no arcade, pro or elite versions sold at retail.

Where did you get this code from? Sainsburys are normally pretty strict with codes - customer specific only. Appears to be something to do with Valentines Day? Please let me know ASAP.

Hi there, just to say that the above is wrong. All XBOX 360's can output Full HD @ 1080p. Remember that not all games (including PS3) are actually published at full 1080p.

Good price.

But, for goodness sake, stop mentionenting the lack of a HDMI cables in the Elite package. You can buy one for a few quid. If it didn't come with two AA batteries for the controller you wouldn't complain. Why? Because batteries are cheap enough to have lying around. Well, so are HDMI cables.

Your right they are cheap so why not supply one

Because they want you you to buy the official Microsoft HD cable which was originally designed for the non Elite. Having a HDMI cable supplied with the Elite packaging would mean Microsoft is admitting that their own HD cable is pretty much obsolete. That's why.

Just done this deal myself, thanks very much!

Does this come with just one controller or is it the same as some of the recent deals with the entertainment pack that comes with the additional controller?

Just one controller, its the Elite Value Pack with Pure and Lego Batman already in the box. The voucher used with this deal has now expired so it should be £174.99 which is on here as a seperate deal. http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/610249/elite-console-bundle-value-pack-for
