This is a bargain! if anyone is thinking of getting a 360 - this isnt a bad deal

I prefer the Zavvi deal, £60 more but the games are decent nad you would probably get £25 trade in on Frontlines and £35 on Army of Two.
#5
In order to get the above deal you need to add

5 Game Best Sellers Pack - Xbox 360 - which is at the bottom of the page

Yes i have to agree with you there. Would probably get about £15 trade in for all five of these games whereas the zavvi deal has games i would actually play plus could get the £60 difference on trade in.

Still a good deal for those who dont want to go passed the £300 mark and have younger kids who will play the games.

Good find:thumbsup:

Please can you give more details on the voucher or better still a link? I couldn't find anything on HUKD or Argos site.

im sorry, but you would not get 25 trade in for frontlines and 35 for army of two!! if i have understood you correctly...you can buy them new for that amount, no way would a company pay out that amount

You can get 10% discount at Zavvi too with your Virgin credit card. I got a bit extra off as they took off the price of the xbox and games before the discount.

Also theres a trick where some stores will let you buy a 100 argos gift card and get the extra 10 voucher. Do it again. Then get 50 quid gift card get 5 quid voucher back. Then buy the product with the gift vouchers and get ANOTHER 10 pound voucher back. (So 35 quid saved.) Its unclear whether this is allowed under terms and conditions but I suggest going straight up to an assistant and ask if I buy 100 pound gift card do I get the 10 pound voucher. No harm in asking and both my local stores said yes straight away no problem.

Actually I will bet you a million pound you will :P

Game and Gamestation offer those prices. I dont know what they resell FFOW for but they resell Army of Two for £42. I know cus Ive already asked them because I will be getting the Elite from Zavvi and trading them in. I got FFOW Special Edition from Amazon, they told me they dont want the t-shirt or anything. So I decided to keep it and decide whether or not to trade in the Zavvi one or the Amazon one.

I traded these in and got £25 for Frontlines and £28 for Army of Two. I'd be a bit narked if they were offering others £35. (I also traded Pro Evo 6 on the PS2 for 50p, get in.)

gamestation

£39.99 new
£37.99 used (none in stock online though)

instore today at Colchester though 2nd hand at £37.99

They try to average £10+ profit on each nearly new traded game, even if they are still sealed, as I understand they cannot claim the VAT back on 2nd hand games so effectivly they lose 17.5%.

they will take your address and full name, and check the serial codes aswell... so don't be clever...

Sheesh, great price. Wish I had waited for this version of the 360...:(

They also give these "classic" games free with the arcade pack. I know they are not the top 5 of the chart but they are free! Essentially it means you could get the arcade pack for £159.99 and with it you'd be getting...

5 arcade games - Pacman, Uno, Feeding Frenzy 2, Luxor 2 and Boom Boom Rocket.

And Also:

5 games full games including:

Kameo - ages 12 and over.

Fuzion Frenzy 2 - ages 7 and over.

Viva Pinata - ages 3 and over.

Project Gotham Racing 3 - ages 3 and over.

Xbox 360 Live Arcade Unplugged: Vol 1 - (which consists of 5 more arcade games).

I think this is great package for a younger gamer, or a "casual" gamer who wants to get into next gen gaming without the next gen price!

:p

If you're a parent reading this I'd say go for it, I can't see any kid complaining when they get there shiny new xbox with 14 games!! ;-)
