I'm guessing watt brothers is only located in wales/ireland?
#2
Watt Brothers is a famous shop in Glasgow, but I think they also have a few (smaller) stores dotted around central Scotland.
#3
I saw this in the Ayr store :santa:

Along with modern warfare at £24.99, see other post!!

No - brand new, boxed and sealed. Saw them in the Ayr store myself last week.

Lego Batman, and Pure are really cheap now, but it`s still a very good deal. Anyway you can compare it to Gamestation offer:

http://gamestation.co.uk/Consoles/Xbox-360/Xbox-360-Elite-Console-Forza-3-and-WWE-Smackdown-vs-Raw-2010/~r418672/

Elite with WWE 2010 & FM3 - 2 pretty expensive games :)

The console cost is pretty much the same in both offers.

Similar offer from Game:
http://www.game.co.uk/Consoles/Xbox-360/Xbox-360-Elite-Console-with-Forza-3-and-Fifa-10/~r344404/

I bet everybody know that, but the point is £149 it`s 50quid less than 199, but if you want to buy newer/better games you have to spend at least £50-60 anyway :)

Smackdown was £15.99 last week, FIFA was £19.99 at Gamestation - £149 for this deal is far better, especially considering you don't have to spend more if you don't want to and if you do you can pick your games!
#18
This deal is madness wish you could get it in online :(
#19
Such a bargain, I nearly wish i was Scottish, sort of, a bit, maybe near Scotland.

Any typos are a result of it being 4am ish and me being battered. Nevertheless this is a good deal.

embarrassingly poor comment

ok and when you want to buy games......

2 new games are £60 - £80

most other offers give you 2 new releases and an elite for £200.

unless you got MW2 for £26, batman for £16, fifa for £25 ect, this works out more expensive........your gonna buy other games anyway.

That might be the case in your own particular situation, but there's plenty of other scenarios where this would be a far better buy.

true. especially in london :(

Why especially in LONDON? its this type of London-centric ******** that gets right on my wick....
London is an absolute hell-hole, give me the countryside or a rural village anyday. Id much rather have the option of spotaneously, politely talking to a stranger than having to converse with arrogant, rude, self obsessed fools who who are suspicious of dialogue not instigated by themselves and have the social incapacity to admit that life does exist (and thrive) outside of London.

Dont get me started on Cockneys
#25
Ermm Im guessing because he lives in London so it would be easier for him to get this bargain if it was near him?

Talk about throwing toys out the pram.

Wow, cool your jets, he only mentioned wanting it in London because then he'd be able to avail of the offer. This isn't the Daily Mail forums' city Vs country debate thread.

Funny thing is not only are you pathetically wrong on so many levels about one of the top cities in Europe and amongst the best in the world overall, but you're the one showing utter arrogance in your condescending views. "Oh look at me, I live in the countryside, I'm SOOOOOO much better than you. Weeeee I can walk my dog in my wellies and say "alright mate" to every passer by before having a five minute mindless conversation about the weather, weeee I'm so awesome".

Fewer people want to live in the countryside than in large, densely populated cities because why would you want to live in a rural location, unless you're obssessed with animals or something and need the space, or are in your retirement years and want fresh air? The best *everything* is to be found in London and similar large cities. Schools, hospitals, jobs, universities, instutitions, etc etc, the most important things in life are at a higher standard. That's why your big country houses are so cheap, the area you're living in might be cleaner or greener because of the small population there, but there are so many downfalls and limitations that country living isn't a viable option for the majority of people - put simply, there's nothing there. So that's why large houses are cheap as chips whereas the same houses in London cost several times more.

So yes, if there is a decent retail outlet that sells goods for reasonable prices, it should ESPECIALLY be in London, as there are far more people there who could benefit with a store like that in the region.

And where to start on what makes London so great? It outstrips every other city in the UK by a good margin and country living by a huge one when it comes to things to do - entertainment, history, culture, science, libraries, museums, theatre, sports, food, nightlife, bars and clubs, concerts, shopping, fashion, so on and so forth. If you honestly think London is crap and a "hell hole", even if your hobbies are better matched to countryside living, then quite clearly you haven't been to the right places, haven't made the right friends whilst living there, and probably have some sort of inferiority complex where if you're not getting the attention you crave in your daily routines you automatically assume everyone else to be *****.
#38
Whats wrong with Cockneys?
#39
Shames we dont have one of these places in Liverpool.

Liverpool is the most perfect place in the world ever.

Well, almost. If we had one of those shops with cheap Xbox 360's, then it would be perfect.

Its better than London anyway.

Gonna catch me a fish....

I reckon Freezin Wolf lives in London anyway. Maybe he just aspires to living 'tup North like I do. Please don't take offence by me living in Huddersfield.
