I know this is available at 365 Games for £29.99 but that's the Asian version, which some people may not want and I've just noticed Shopto are selling the PAL version (UK/European) for £29.95 with same day dispatch via recorded delivery, which normally arrives the following day.

Some people love this game and even though I've bought every single PGR game to date and loved them, I started getting bored of the almost identical forumula, so haven't bothered getting the latest version but I'm sure this is still a top notch game as usual.

Don't forget to go through Quidco to receive 4% cashback, making it £28.75 all inclusive. :)

Also thought I'd mention that the PAL versions next lowest price is £35.93 and can be traded in shops, whereas obviously the Asian version is not accepted. :)

Does anyone know if this game has made improvements to justify buying it if you've owned all 3 PGR games in the past?

I know they've now added bikes but does that actually add something to the game?

Best game on 360... it would be a reason to buy the console!

You don't have to use them, but you'll soon get used to them. Very much worth it though, looks amazing, plays great and feels cohesive compared to PGR3.

It's not a massive improvement over PGR3 but it is well worth buying as it's the best racing game on the 360.

The new weather effects are a nice touch but they don't really add alot to the game.

If you enjoyed all of the previous PGR games then you will enjoy PGR4 but don't expect a massively different game, it basically is just a graphical improvement with a few new tracks.

And bikes..

The inclusion of bikes has been very poorly done, The handling seems so unresponsive.

If you've not already, try Colin McRae DIRT
Graphics are a lot sharper and I prefer the gameplay.

Saying that I only have the demo version of PGR4

Saving my money for Call Of Duty 4

Pretty sure there was an asian site people use on here that you could get this for around the £22-23 mark last week?

You're doing it wrong then.. it takes a while to get used to and is realistic according to bikers I know.

played PGR3 on mate's console, loved it, just got my own console (argos deal)and ordered

thanks for the heads up! good price...!

You're right, the graphics are sharper in DIRT but it's a completely different game, and the online side is pants unfortunately. Flying round London in the rain in a Ferrari FXX with 7 other players, some on bikes (which do handle well, you just have to get used to them) is awesome.

I really like PGR4, definately a must have for the 360

dirt is rallying and pgr4 is street racing which are totally different. pgr 4 online is the best ive ever played. the one player game is ok and will keep you busy for a few hours but this games comes alive online. nice price too.

I own PGR 4,Dirt and Forza 2.While Dirt and Forza are good games,PGR 4 is in my opinion in a another league altogether. The best racing game available on any console at the moment.Well worth getting at this price and great fun online too.Voted hot !.

If you liked the previous PGRs or racing games at all BUY THIS GAME.

It's almost like the ultimate PGR everything is so well done. Graphics are stunning, weather is awesome, the tracks are great, bikes are good (personally I'm not a big bikes fan but you don't even have to use them much at all if you choose so), online is much improved (ranked match system in PGR3 was TERRIBLE)...

... It's just brilliant.

It may seem similar to PGR3 at first, but after a bit of play you'll realise this is a proper, proper sequel.

I knew I shouldn't of asked if it was any good, now I really want it and I've recently bought so many games, it's ridiculous. :-(

I don't even have time to play all the games I have but I just can't stop buying them. :-(

You'll have two more soon M8!.:) PGR4 and Call Of Duty 4 are the two best games of 2007 IMO.Both are must have 360 titles.

Could always sell some of your games you don't play anymore to put the cash towards them.:)
#20
I have loads that I haven't even started playing properly but they're must buy games, so I'm not getting rid of them for anything. :)

Plus it still makes my collection look good. :giggle:
