I listed this deal before (received +127 hot votes) but thought I'd list it again since it's already instock on the xbox 360 a good few days before everywhere else and it's still the lowest price as well, so I'll have my copy by tomorrow morning.

I don't know how many of you played the demo over xbox live but this game really impressed me, as well as many others and definitely is deemed as the next best game to buy on the Xbox 360.

This game is also officially the most expensive next generation release, spending $30 million on production and it's directed by Hollywoods best action director John Woo and starring Chow Yun-Fat.

This game is now only £32.99 on both the Xbox 360 and PS3 and don't forget that Shopto are arguably the best online retailer for preorder shipments, as games consistantly arrive 1-2 days before the preorder release date and will do so again by 2 days if you order before 5:30pm today.

If you also go through Quidco, you'll receive 4% cashback, making this brilliant game just £31.67 all inclusive.

Hope that helps. :)

The game seems to have been leaked online already!

Excellent deal for a surprisingly good game. I would call it an arcade shooter with a twist. It felt 'new' and fun to me.

Many people talk about Max Payne 2 but I think that's just nostalgia talking because Max Payne 2 had many flaws to it.

I am tempted by this and might just treat myself! Voted hot.

Any vouchers for Shopto for new customers??
#4
Good deal. I ordered through Game using the £5 off code bringing the price to £32.99, but with 11% Quidco cashback making it about £29.37 :) Not much difference, but another option if anyone is after the game.
#5
I might go for that. Game are a little better than Shopto.

Usually shop at Gameplay though because even if I ordered now I would receive the game in the morning if it's in stock of course. It's amazing how quickly the game goes from Leeds to M'bro.
#6
I dunno about that, the only reason I'd order from Game is because they receive bigger shipments and offer higher quidco and reward points and it only works out better value because of the £5 voucher swimming around at the moment.

In my personal opinion, Shopto are the best for preorders without a doubt, and here's some examples of the current preorder games I've noticed that's instock right now but there's probably more.

They have Super Paper Mario - Wii 4 days before launch with next day delivery, Stranglehold 3 days and Colin McRae Dirt PS3 3 days early, so if you ever want a big game quickly, they're the best and normally offer the lowest straight up price.

Yeah that seems quite impressive.

Suppose you wouldn't have problems with pre-ordered games condition either. So I might just give them a try.

It's a shame Gameplay aren't selling it though. Next day guaranteed with them for me but I don't like to pay £39.00 for a game. I think it's shocking to be honest.

How do you know it's in stock? the site says:

Stock: Pre-Order

Released: In 3 Days!

Do Shopto use Royal Mail like Gameplay do? The reason I ask is that I have an understanding with the postman and just leave the door unlocked for him so I never miss a parcel on the morning.

Or if it's small enough he will post it! :)
#11
Gameplay have it for £34.99 for anyone near leeds! As I say I always receive the parcel the next day in M'bro so I would imagine it would be the same for anyone around this part of the world.

I might go for Gameplay due to the speedy service..

OI! :w00t:

On another note now that I know Shopto use Royal mail I might use them in the future.

It's a great understanding I have with my postman, it only took a few weeks to train him. Saves me going to the post depot as well!

Or being woken up by the knocking on the door at 7am! Grrrr

I've just received mine.

"Not for supply within the UK" on the packaging along with swedish, finnish and Dutch writing and flags.

Oh dear oh dear Igor (Mr Shopto). Yes you posted it early, but it's not the UK release.

First bad thing I've had to say about shopto. good job this one's for a mate. I got mine from Game for cheaper.
#16
I would rather pay £2.00 more to get it from Gameplay to be honest. Always outstanding service and you can actual speak to someone if you have too direct.

Gameplay it is!
#17
Not bad price but this game is very shallow and gets old pretty damn quick. Best way to get a good deal on this is to wait a couple of weeks after release as there will be shedloads of them for sale on ebay and in the bargain bins. Considering the graphics are nowhere near Gears of War quality the framerate drops are unforgiveable.
#18
I thought the graphics were terrible to be honest and I can't understand why the cut scenes are so blocky.

Errrm, I really don't understand why you'd want to pay more to get the game later, my copy arrived this morning but it's upto you if you want to do it like that.

Shopto have always dispatched all my games the same day as I ordered them, even sending you a free text to let you know if you prefere and it always arrives the next morning, so you can't really ask for more than that.

Yeah well I don't actually mind waiting for this one now I have had time to think about it. I think the price will drop in a week or two because the game has a limited audience I think.

I am looking forward to playing it but I can wait. I have never had a problem with Gameplay and I think that is part of me wanting to use them when possible.

Also 2 or 3 pounds is neither here or there for me.

Shopto.net is cheaper, and also have customer service you can talk to. Plus they ship their games on Wednesdays, what more do you want? Better than Gameplay for cheaper.

"Region:
PAL - Uk and European version"

You gets what you pays for. To get stock early and to do it cheaper than everyone else they get PAL software on the continent sometimes.

Pretty much for that reason.

I was once sent the wrong version of a certain game not too long ago and called Gameplay. They gave me the freepost address to send the game back and instantly shipped a replacement out. Received early next morning (very early)

So this is another reason I use Gameplay. They are better for ME. It's not so much about saving £2 for me. That kind of service is priceless!

So you're saying that because they inconvenienced you and delayed your game by a further day on top of that, you PREFERE to use them?

To be honest mate, any respectable company would send out your game if they sent you the wrong item in the first place, so that's no reason to pay more, as Gameplay are consistantly more expensive than most computer game retailers.

That's happened once in 5 years. Also to be fair Bioshock on the pc (tin edition) does resemble Bioshock on 360.

I am saying I trust them as a company and that's important to me. I have no idea if I can trust the likes of shopto. Considering people are receiving games which are not meant to be sold in the UK.
#32
Also if I ordered now I would receive the game at 7:30 tomorrow morning. Where else could you get that kind of service?

Yes the prices are high but gamestation are guilty of over pricing too.

Yes, I agree, highstreet stores are more expensive and those same stores with their own websites seem to charge a higher rate than everyone else too but Gameplay are one of the better ones (much better than Virgin and HMV)

Regarding your items arriving at 7:30am, that is completely dependant on your local post office, as Gameplay have no control over the times your postie will start delivering mail but it's good to hear that Gameplay will also dispatch the same day and arrive the next morning like Shopto, Softuk and Choicesuk have done for me every time. :)

Regarding the EU PAL games, I really don't see why the UK doesn't want people to buy the same version of the game over here, it's the same game and the same region, yet they're trying to impose restrictions, so it doesn't make sense to me.

I know some stores are able to buy the EU PAL version slightly earlier and if it's cheaper as well, then that's even better for me personally.
I'm not sure if highstreet stores will accept the trade in for these as people are mentioning (I don't think some of the staff are trained enough to notice any difference) but you can easily sell them on Ebay for a higher price than the trade in offer anyway.
