Got the original white one and I love it.
The backlight on the buttons is a really great feature and using other remotes in the dark just annoys me now as you can't see anything and end up changing channels rather than adjusting the volume.
But not nearly as convenient or easy to use.
Definitely recommended if you use Netflix or Lovefilm via your 360.
Was pleasantly surprised to find it worked with our no-brand telly as well.
Black remote falls down on:
- combined play/pause button so if it's not picked up first time, you have to click it another two times
- doesn't have the option to toggle into TV mode like the white one has, so you still need to keep the TV remote handy for anything other than the most basic functions
- not backlit
- no media centre button
The buttons are far nicer/more tactile than on the white one but that was its only redeeming feature for me.
