I found the normal GTA IV instead of the classic for the same price.
Dispatched within 24 hours!

The original open-world action series has made the leap to next generation formats and headed back to Liberty City in Grand Theft Auto IV.

When Grand Theft Auto III graced PlayStation 2s the world over in 2001, it gave players a then unknown level of freedom - if you could imagine it, you could probably do it. Its been a long wait for the series next true sequel, and it tweaks the classic formula almost perfectly.

GTA IV stars Niko, an Eastern European immigrant who moves to Liberty City in the hopes of starting his life afresh and forgetting his troubled past. His tale is far more down to earth than the rags to riches stories of past GTAs, but this suits the titles more realistic tone. GTAs city of choice, Liberty City, has also had a makeover, and is now almost a duplicate of New York City, with versions of the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge both making an appearance.

Yes they made a mistake on the website, but if you read the description it clearly does say xbox 360

Maybe they made the mistake and put Xbox 360 and it should be PS3.
#4
Ive just ordered it so will have to see which version turns up.

Having the PS3 picture doesn't inspire me with confidence but I've ordered anyway. Taking Quidco into account it's going to cost £11 which seems like a bargain.

And the difference between the "normal" and the "classic" ... is?

Packaging?
#7
I dont think there is much difference, i always used to think that the classic games always used to be cheaper and the normal ones kept thier value more so, i noticed this with ps2 games in the past.

Apparently mine has been despatched already so I'll find out in the New Year (due to RM sucking donkeys) if it's for the PS3 or Xbox360.

I ordered this for my brother's Christmas present on the 8th December. It was dispatched on the 9th and I have still yet to receive it.

Tesco Entertainment i very slow at delivering, ordered the classic one last Monday got it on Friday i think.

Oh fogot to mention, but was in curry's earlier and they had quite a few of these for £9.97

Cue the clearance shizzle but worth a look imo.
I was in central Middlesbrough btw

What is the differnence between this and the Episodes from Liberty City? Two different games?
#13
As an aside, Blockbuster are doing the PS3 version of this (non-platinum) for £9.99 new.

I hate to worry you, but RM have lost 6 of my orders + a credit card statement in the past 6 weeks (nothing from Tesco though). They seem to be excelling themselves this year.

Mine arrived this morning after only ordering yesterday! It's the 360 version, they just have the wrong picture. Cheers OP.
