Cold, you can get it for under £100 at most places including amazon

Quidco says it is only 3% on hardware purchase and 11% on software purchases, but still very cheap. Shame i bought one before the 5 hd-dvds offer was on.

Good find but Play have them even cheaper at £109.99 with the free film offer.
Amazon are offering them at £99.98 but do not mention the 5 free films however, I believe the offer is a Microsoft offer rather than a limited specific retailers so it should apply to all purchases of the HD-DVD player. Just use the pdf found in the HMV offer page. You may want to get confirmation before ordering though. I'll email Microsoft and let you know the outcome.

It is a Microsoft offer so it doesn't matter where you got the HD-DVD Drive!

I got my drive last month from PC World (~£89 with student discount), filled in the form, stuck the barcode on, then sent it away. They emailed back asking for the drive serial, and after that was given they processed the application and I got my HD DVDs 2 weeks later!
