There are a lot better & almost as cheap HD players on the market (for a while anyway!!) & a lot less noisy ones than this.

there is still some positive parts on this, not many i must admit but ther are a few
1. it will upscale your normal dvds
2.you can get HD-dvd cheap for some reason
3. you get two usb ports, one could be used for the bluray drive that will be launched
4. it's region free, the xbox drive isn't
I know i'm grasping at straws
#13
haha haha
#14
these are going well cheap because Toshiba have given up on HD DVD so best save your money for a Blue ray player!!!

1. It does not upscale normal DVD's, the xbox 360 does this, so the inbuilt DVD drive is fine.
2. Yep, and HD DVDs will not self destruct as some people think.. lol
3. Does have 2 USB ports, but hey the xbox has 3 anyway, and hubs are cheap (Poundland).
4.Only HD DVD region free as HD DVD never finalized regions, will not play standard DVD's out of region of the xbox.
