"more like 11ft with 2 players"

I played quite a lot of 2 player Kinect Sports / Kinect Adventures a couple of weeks ago and needed nothing like 11 feet of space. At most we were 9 feet away, because any further back and we'd have been sat on the sofa. :D

Microsoft recommend 8 feet for 2 players actually.
Mines works fine at 7 feet though.

Great tech, terrible games, and always will have terrible games.

Eyetoy 2.0 will be all dusty a month or two after xmas me thinks, and dont think I'm flaming without reason, just look at the Kinect Star Wars trailer xD

@ Miss money saver, just search for "ebay" on topcashback or quidco and proceed from there with your purchase.

ive got a PS3 and saw the gadget show review - the kinect is far better than move but you do need a decent sized room. PS3 move seems laggy and you have to sync it everytime also on kinect another player can jump straight in the game unlike move. So voting hot for that reason (and the price).

I agree! I bought my kinect to have a laugh and launch games are always poor - just give it time :)
