HA! VERY VOUCHERS!

Its £99 anyway, theres no need for vouchers, its cheaper than anywhere on the high street thats for sure.
#3
This SHOULD be HOT!!

I know it's VERY, but this time the website clearly states £99 + Delivery with no vouchers involved.

Now we may all think that the Kinect is VERY(sic) overpriced at £129 or whatever, but this is surely the hottest price yet for this item, which is what this site is all about.

Voted Hot.

I have no interest in Kinect but this is almost £30 cheaper than RRP so I've added heat although the deal is still -2 degrees....

Sorry OP but at least you KNEW you where on to a loser when you posted the deal (_;)

Voted HOT, cheapest yet for kinect stand alone, and almost £30 off the rrp and it's not even out yet.
For once NO vouchers needed, so if you are able to use some codes, this could work out really good!
#6
Voted hot indeed. Given what the Kinect can do and the fact that it doesn't require any extras if you want 2 or 3 or 4 players at once; AND it's improving of the already excellent media hub facility on the 360, I think the price isn't too bad. It was always going to be expensive but at least here the product is worth the hype.
#7
Hot from me, cheapest available yet people vote cold ???
#8
Hot from me some people don't bother to read things before voting cold, real shame as this and many other "cold" deals are in fact very hot.

HA! VERY VOUCHERS!

I wouldn't dare mention a voucher code in the deal price, but it is possible for me to get the price down to about £70 delivered.

Agreed, if the codes are used correctly there is always a deal that`s valid to many. If anyone doesn`t have a Very account, sign up with them and get 10% off your first order as well as 3 months interest free credit !!! That would bring this down to £89.10 plus delivery, that`s hot !!!

Here you go £20 off ZQ322 existing customer just used and it worked, if they come back in months from now and take it back its still cheap at £99 otherwise £82 delivered.

just used it and it worked and it came to the amount below that's a paste off the confirmation email but it will work for some and not others. On my letters one for me and one for the missis they both have the exact same code and we have 2 different very accounts, but it does say you haven't shopped with us for a while so if you have an outstanding balance or you have just joined its not going to work. Just had the quico track aswell for £7.92. so thats a grand total of £75 for this delivered.

Sub Total £ 99.00
Total Discount £ -20.00
Delivery £ 3.95
Total Including Delivery £ 82.95

It is?

I personally believe Kinect is one of the most ludicrous things I have ever seen.

I'm an existing customer too as used them once-code never worked so hit or miss- heat added though as cheapest price without voucher
#16
same price @ additions direct if anyone has problems with very
#17
I've actually played Kinect Adventure and a few other games on it, and it's brilliant fun. Kinect really makes you move unlike the Wii. Wii Fit costs £70 RRP which I think it's a rip-off but the Kinect is a proper piece of kit that's well worth forking out £100 for.

HHHHHotttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt!
#19
£93 for a kinnect is good price even if they probably canel the orders as a miss price, least I can pick up another game with the difference. They are bound to be shortages when released so even if its rubbish still chance to sell it before xmas and get my money back
#20
voucher didn't work for me
#21
just gone for this through quidco - got a £15 off voucher from there so it came to £87.95 with 8% cashback
#22
Hot from me, people have issues with Very and Littlewoods etc because of the APR but if you pay for this outright, what's the difference.

All that does is show, once again, that people are different. There's a lot of people out there that think gaming is ridiculous in and of itself. Avatar is the most popular film of the modern age and you'll find millions of people who love it, but, you'll also find a fair chunk that hates it; if anything because so many people have seen it the numbers of "haters" are pretty large, even though dwarfed by the "likers".

Objectively Kinect IS one of the best gaming innovations around, look at the response from professionals as well as almost everyone who has actually used the thing. So whilst your opinion has little weight in a "factual & objective" analysis it is of course 100% accurate from your personal point of view, assuming of course that you've tried it? My personal view matches my objective one; Kinect is a very good gaming accessory AND a great step forward for the media hub functions of the 360 too. I'm looking forward to getting mine and I haven't met anyone who has tried it that doesn't want one. Not everyone will agree but since when did everyone agree about anything that has to do with entertainment? There are people out there that don't rate Gear of War or Halo but they are 4 or 5 of the best rated and most popular games of all time.

Playstation move was pretty cool too, but from a family of 4 perspective (which I have) Kinect is better value for money as I don't need to buy 3 extra "pairs!" of controllers..
#25
Hot, excellent price, and if the voucher works then even better. Heat added.

I have used Marshall Ward a few times and no issues whatsoever. They are normally overpriced but sometimes they do have the odd good deal like this.
#26
Already pre ordered mine from gamestation at full retail, damn.
Very good deal indeed well found, still not sure it is going to be any good, but the wii trade in pays for it.
#27
Just joined additions direct, promo code ZZ551 and you get £87.95 also buy now pay Sept 2011
#28
code worked for me, cleared balanced and not used them for a while.
got the same code a couple of weeks ago, saying i havent used them and to tempt me heres a voucher
#29
Had no interest at all in the Kinect, but I'm tempted now... Even if I sell it on on eBay once it's arrived.

Possible £79 plus quidco once it arrives.. That's gotta be hot?

Can you use the Kinect with the older model Xbox 360s?
#30
Just went to buy and as i tried to put my payment throuigh it says order needs re-pricing...so now not avalable for me..
#31
Nice one, thanks. Bought on buy now pay later. That way I can try it, and if I dont like it, sell before I have to pay anything :D

there is a lot of debate out there as to how many players kinect really support.. there are loads and loads of other unanswered technical issues regarding kinect... i suggest you read up on all the kinect experiences at the neogaf forum if you are not sure what lies behind kinect..

http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=kinect+site%3Aneogaf.com&hl=en&num=10&lr=&ft=i&cr=&safe=active

however, this is a very good price for kinect.. the best price out there so buy it if you are looking for something different from the controller based gaming.. it will also be an especially good toy for young kids and people who are console-phobic.. at this price it is a hot deal - i doubt you will be disappointed..

Just cancelled my Game pre-order at £129.99 and ordered for £30 cheaper here! many thanks!

what are very like for delivery? will we get these on release date? not too fussed if not mind
#34
voted cold because this is still over priced and still limited to the number of players who you can play multiplayer games with.

Until this reaches the £49.99 mark (Peripheral alone) any Kinnect deals over this price will get an automatic cold from me.
#35
Go to deal not working so I got to Very my own way. Searched Kinect, clicked on it and got Sorry, we didn't find any results.

I get the same at Marshall Ward, Additions Direct, and all the others.

Well that's just stupid, voting it cold because you think it should be cheaper is ludicrous!

MS advises against "clutter" for Kinect

Microsoft has warned that messy floors "with clothes all over the place" will prevent Kinect from working properly. Better have a quick tidy.

The company also advised against putting the sensor in "a noisy environment", using the examples "on top of your Xbox" and "on top of your subwoofer".

"We rely on the floor for a number of different parts of the technology," said Mark Plagge, Kinect's senior project manager, during a set-up video.

"You'll see when the sensor first boots up that it actually does this tilt down, and what it's doing is it's looking for the floor plane. Titles use the floor plane as a point of reference for the skeletons as they're moving throughout the title.

"The floor plane becomes very important, so if you have a very cluttered floor with clothes all over the place and we can't get a good look at the floor - it's a great thing if people can clean that up and move things out of the way."

The Kinect sensor should be placed in the horizontal middle of your telly at either the top or bottom. Exactly where will likely be bossed by the location of your telly's speakers, as having the sensor too close will mean audio interference.

"The other thing is that you want to put as much distance between you and the sensor as possible, so [placing the sensor] higher up actually tends to put an extra foot between you and the sensor," explained Tian Lim, director of Kinect development.

"The ideal play space starts about six feet away from the Kinect sensor. Some games will need you to move side to side quite a lot, so you'll want to know there are three-to-four feet on either side of you."

The requirements don't stop there. People with halogen spotlit rooms may encounter difficulties, as the Kinect sensor prefers an even light source throughout.

"To have really bright lighting in one spot and really dark lighting in another spot: as you move between the two you might actually look a bit different to the sensor, [and it will be] a little bit harder for us to keep track of you throughout the play space," said Kareem Choudhry, principal development manager on Kinect.

Don't panic if you can't remember that, as you'll be walked through each of the elements by on-screen Kinect setup tools.

The Kinect sensor launches on 10th November in the UK. Alone, it costs £130.

I think they may have run out or cocked the price up and removed it.

The code doesn't work either, I have an account with all of them.
