Any chance you can scan your receipt craig because every Game i go into have never heard of these being reduced, and show up at £19.99 at the till

I got this in GAME about 2 months ago for £7.99 so I'm guessing this is the price across the whole UK. The controller itself is a bit s#it tbh. After playing a few arcade games with it I started asking myself why I was bothering since it's actually easier to just use a normal controller. Still, £8 for a controller and 3 games you can hardly complain. These would make good stocking fillers .

Yes it was £7.99 in Game by Liberty Stadium, Swansea earlier this week.

Looks good voted hot.

I have one of these, and they arent too bad. I do not think however that it would be up to much on SFII because its analogue.....and dissapointingly, the spinner control does not work on Tron, which I was really gutted about....and wasnt really fast enough to be any use on tempest..
#13
Thanks Craig, i'll mosey on down later on and have it out with them :-D
#14
I'm hoping for a good arcade stick to come out with SFIV.
#15
saw them in my local ASDA for £7.00

SFIV is getting its own range of controllers, from joysticks to controllers that dont have analog sticks just a direction pad and the 8 buttons in the correct layout.

As for this stick, rubbish for SF2. Mine didnt even last 4 rounds before it gave up and refused to work anymore :(

They don't show up at £19.99 at the till and haven't done for at least three months.

this joystick isn't great tbh. i bought is for sf2 but its shape/design didn't allow for smooth play. i guess it is meant for puzzle and simple arcade games.

is the dpad on this much better than the 360 controller's dpad? It looks like it would work better, but does it. This is all I would want this for, as the 360 dpad just doesn't work properly on games, which makes games like MK hard to play. Please let me know. Cheers :)

It's a -little- bit better, but only by the slimest of margins. It's quite ironic that I gave up on using the proper stick to just using the D-pad on it because it felt a darn sight less twitchy.

Overall the stick isn't brilliant, more a novelty than anything. Getting the games thrown in is a bonus, but in their own right they're not much cop either. Frogger is pretty OK, Astropop is like a weird take on Alleyway from the old skool GB, and Time Pilot is a pretty frenetic (if twitchy) shmupper.

I'd probably be ****** off if I'd paid 400 gamerpoints for each of the games (~ £3.50) but as a bundle this is quite an ok stocking filler.

Just been to both of the 'Game' shops in Meadowhall and they say they've never ever sold these :?

Gutted as i wanted one for my girlfriend :-(

got one from my local Game this morning at £7.82 - £2.50 I had on the reward card, codes are out of date though, still gonna try them in a bit see what the Xbox says, I am happy to have paid a fiver for the joystick though, and I already had frogger which was the only one of the 3 that would have interested me..

EDIT, Game store was the Shires Leicester

just tried Time Pilot code and it worked so bonus for me...

if anyone is actually serious about an arcade stick for the 360 then the hori stick is really the only choice.

Hori Officially licensed fighting stick

yes its a lot more expensive, but its worth every penny and won't break after 5 minutes.

Does anyone know if you can get a converter to use ps2 pads on a 360? i know you could get one for the old xbox. I have a brilliant arcade stick that I never use anymore as I don't play my ps2 so would be great if you could get a usb adapter. It might not have all of the buttons but would do the trick.

You both have to be as I bought some over three months ago and a couple a few days ago and paid £7.99 the first time and £7.82 a few days ago.
