Was browsing the games in my local ASDA and spotted this.

It also includes a SkyPlayer code, but it's no longer redeemable.

Edit: SkyPlayer codes are apparently redeemable until 30th September 2011, although I can't find a source.

Yeah, you're right. I thought they expired on 30th September last year, but according to the site they can now be redeemed until 5th February 2011.

one of the most stupid decisions ever.......who on earth is gonna read the ultra small print on the back, this should be made clearer on the packaging and having a short expiry date is stupid....skyplayer is awful anyway and i have a fast connection

Got one of these for £4 before Christmas in Asda and sold the sky player card for £23.15 and the xbox live 3 months for £10.11 on ebay and still havnt got round to selling the actual remote.

Hot at this price if you can find them :)
#11
Great deal. I bought one in HMV a couple of weeks back for £24 for the month for Sky Sports for the NFL Playoffs.

I can confirm you can use more than 1 of the sky codes as this is the 2nd year i've used one, though presumably you'd have to cancel before applying another one.

I use sky player a lot and it is amazing! I dont know what the bloke in this thread said its rubbish, it is brilliant!!

Seems like a great deal. Sorry for being a bit amateur, but how exactly do these Sky subscriptions work? Do you need a Sky subscription to get Skyplayer access? What channels does the 1months access grant to you? Could I use it to get Sky Sports 1 for the footy?
#18
Good deal if you can find them, used the sky cards for about 6 months straight. put in the code, cancel and when the month is up put in another code. usable until Sept 2011. you get sky sports 1-4 , ss news, sky 1, bravo etc. also when you subscribe you can register your computer/ laptop which is also handy.

Does anyone know if the SkyAtlantic channel has been/ will be added to the SkyPlayer channels?

Not as of yet, annoying as they keep teasing by advertising it, I really want to watch some of the dramas on there as I no longer download things unavailable over here. I only watched about two episodes of Treme which seemed really interesting, digging the new orleans vibe.

yeh i stocked up when they were going cheap, hard to find them anywhere now however.
Sky player is hit and miss for me, sometimes the quality is good, sometimes terrible. I'm using homeplugs so I thought the quality would be better, not the smudgy mess I get from time to time

if anyone can get these I will pay £15 for each pack

If your desperate hmv have these in stock for 25 online, cashback will bring it down a bit and if you only want the sky you can sell the other bits on playtrade, thats what I've done before - £11 3mths live 6 quid for remote (lucky if anyone wants one but hey) makes the sky 8ish quid minus the expenses to sell post etc. Alternatively you could try ebay on one of their free listing days...Just my suggestions, ignore if you want the lot.

anyone else found this?

Oh ****, if any of the stores in Liverpool had these I could get my year's subscription for £28.80, plus 4 remotes and Sky.
