Wish this deal had come up yesterday, I ordered it from Amazon as it was the cheapest I could find and it's already been dispatched....

Have a little heat anyway :)

Before anyone orders, I am 90% certain that this is for the older elite version because they have another black controller with the same pic thats out of stock. That one is listed without the word 'elite' in the title.

Edit, I've changed my mind, there is a 50/50 chance that this could be for the new S model.

It's a hot deal anyway you slice it. I was going to buy the black wired on for this price for my PC. Seriously considering this now as the wireless adapter can be had for a fiver or so...

My only concern is having to keep replacing the batteries!
#6
I've ordered one anyway. Just hope I get it before xmas.

Great price, thanks :)

Am I understanding right in that I can but a wireless receiver and use this for my PC? Many thanks.

Yes, you need something like this.. but I am sure you can buy it cheaper elsewhere.

Just thought id add my 2 cents worth £9.99 Black wireless receiver from PLAY.com, slightly cheaper than amazon

Ordered this morning and just received my dispatch email!

Thanks for the tip off, but what do you mean by "improved D-pad" is it simply the colour or has it been tweaked in some way?
#15
Is this the one with the 'now working' D-Pad? The one that twists out.

Also will it work on PC if you have a wireless reciever? thanks

I've just noticed the other black controller they sell have a grey coloured D-pad and a lower RRP.

So there is a 50% chance that this could be for the newer S model.

Just a reminder, the 10% SANTA10 promo code expires midnight tonight.

Just brought the controller to treat myself for Christmas.
Not until I finished the transaction that I remember I need a wireless receiver for PC
So went along to play.com for the £9.99 receiver
Thanks for the good deal and fingers crossed for the new model.

Hey there, just thought i would have some input into determining which controller this is for the new one or the old? If you look at the description for the new control on Amazon with the improved D-pad and then the description on mymemory for the controller mentioned in this post they are the same, vice-versa for the old one too :) So personally i think there is a high chance that this is for the new control, hot from me :)

Just received it and it looks like it's the newer S model. The year on the back of the package is 2010.http://i967.photobucket.com/albums/ae157/pintoystool/P1030099.jpg
