they dont seperate them as black and white on their site. if you want a black one your better of going instore. its a shame BOTH black ones i saw were faulty as i would of like 2 get a pair of black ones.
#6

yh just added that. however if u go instore there is a high chance they have brand new ones. my local cex had around 6 sealed ones yesterday but i went this afternoon and they only had one sealed one left.
#11
Bought a used one in Cex Birmingham yesterday. No sealed ones available
#12
they come with 12 months warranty anyway so doesnt matter if they are used.
#13
If you can get new ones for the same price, you'd go for the new one, right? Have you seen the stuff that falls out of a keyboard when you turn it upside down? The same stuff finds its way into control pads as well.

Apart from the fact they've probably been owned by a teenage boy and we all know what their second favourite hobby is after playing video games, and how often they wash their hands :whistling:

it's very easy to take off the plastic casing of these controllers, the wired ones anyway.

I washed a second hand wired controller in boiling water and it looked as good as new

just sold a pair for £25 in my local paper, voted hot, excellent price:)
#21
I've bought 2, but yeah, they're gonna get a good scrubbing when they arrive.

At less than half price of a new one its hard to argue

Yep, very easy to do, and it's the only way you will get them sparkly clean.

then you're a dweeb. don't you ever go and play games with your mates on their consoles? do you get them to disinfect the controller for you first?

heh! bargain, just ordered one.

not very often as we all have the same games and a service called xbox live  if i ever go and play on someone elses console i take my controller and headset. just like i'd never buy clothes from a second hand shop but i understand some of us have to

Hahaha xbox live isn't a replacement for moving out of the house you know! You'd actually bring your own controller simply because of that? I can understand putting an antibacterial wipe or something when you buy it second hand but your way seems a bit too far. Anyway as for the clothes how do you know they are brand new and haven't been tried on by somebody before you walked in the shop, or a return within 28 days in some cases? Same with electronics as well...

Good deal, wish I needed one now!
#27
Have you guys never heard of antibacterial wipes? :p

Edit: I guess some of you have! lol.
#28
That is a shockingly good deal...I can hardly believe it!

I generally don't make a big song and dance about going round a mate's house after the pub or whatever.. the controller stays at home. Maybe you'd take yours with you in a little bum-bag. Well done you.

here.. have a patronising thumbs up

Ew. Just took a good look at mine and its got some sort of ear wax like substance underneath the analogue controls and the LT/LB/RB/LB buttons indents are jet black. Still a bargain after a good clean

Are you the sort of person that has to open doors with paper towels and wash your hands every 5mins?
Or are you patronizing people for buying something cheap (even though your posting on a site thats purpose is to show people "hot deals") coz you are abit of a snob?

Super Hot, just a shame you cant order A black 1 online.

no, i'm the sort of person who doesn't want to hold something for more than 3 seconds that is dirty and covered in various substances, like said in a previous post to clean properly this needs to be taken apart and once that is done it's never 100% again unless you spend 5 hours putting it back together slowly. not quite sure why i'm even replying to someone who says the word "coz" because it's how my 6 year old cousin would type but there we go.

These joypads can't be put back together wrong at all , each thing can only go in one position and the only trouble you can have is if you tighten the top two screws too much ( then you loosen it so the bumbers will be flexible enough )

Takes less than 5 minutes to reassemble these , and all the time is taken screwing the t8h's

Using a special screwdriver that most people don't have. Then you're left with a clean controller that's still second-hand, still been used so will have wear-and-tear and be less responsive than a new one. Considering there are regularly deals for new controllers for not much more money than this (I got a controller and 2 games for £15) is it really worth it?

Yes it is. Plus it's good to have spare controllers lying around so at this price can't go wrong. Do all the people who have an issue with used controllers have an issue with used cars as well? I suppose you'd all get the hazmat team to go in if you were to purchase such a vehicle.
