I think I have understood this offer correctly. Total cost is £122.50 for the Xbox 360 and the 18 months broadband.

This is an amazing deal...

I don't think I've ever voted cold on a deal before, but this thread title has forced my hand.

Sorry, but i'm out.

Why all the cold votes? I thought this deal worked out as a bargain.

Is Orange BB crap or something?

I've amended the price to include mandatory elements.

A minimum charge of £7.50 * 15 (3 months free) = £112.50
A minimum of £11.50 * 18 for Orange Landline = £207
Base Fee of £10 for the xbox = £10

Total Minimum Spend = £329.50

Max Charge as I see it could be....

£22.50 for non mobile/non orange bb network customer * 15 (3 month free) = £337.50
£11.50 * 18 for Orange Landline = £207
Base Fee of £10 for the xbox = £10

Total = £554.50

so if you can get the cheaper package then it works out at £19 p/m - that's still £2 cheaper than Sky's equivalent package (that's before you factor-in the 3 months free)

Not the cheapest on the market but for what you get it seems like a good deal to me

I think too many people are voting this based on averything you have to get for it rather than the deal it is. Most people will be paying for line rental anyway at a similar price to this and most people will be paying for broadband at a similar deal to this so why so cold when you can get an xbox for changing your supplier? If you got a free xbox for changing gas/electric suppliers to one with a similar tariff would you do it? I personally wouldn't get it as the reviews on orange broadband are shocking, but people who don't use it for gaming or high volume downloading will find this a good deal. Though they may use it for gaming once the xbox arrives lol

I just rang Orange and they said because I currently have my line rental with Sky I'll have to pay £110 to get switched back to a BT line (through the Post Office, BT charge £130 direct)

Anyone else heard anything like this? The bloke I spoke to in Orange said I'd get the same problem with any company that I want to switch my phone to as Sky now have my line and most other phone companies need a BT line

the 10 pounds you are paying groupon is to get the xbox with the deal

my god... so many morons..

Every single internet provider requires a line rental of £10 to £12 varying.
And Orange price is average price, if you are with Orange it is an amazing price for broadband.
And to then get 3 months free is great.
Plus a xbox 360 for £10... seriously anyone who votes this cold is officially an idiot... no other isp will give you a xbox for £10 just for signing up.

Came here to post this myself. This is an amazing deal if you're already an Orange mobile subscriber who's already looking to switch their home phone & broadband provider.

It's £6.50 a month cheaper than what we're already paying for phone & broadband in our flat, plus we get an xbox for £10. This is ridiculously good. Sure, it sucks if you're already stuck in a contract period or you're out of orange's network coverage, but that's just too bad for you!

Hot deal for any Orange mobile customer who is looking to change broadband supplier.

Everyone has to pay for their landline whether it be from BT or somebody else and £11.50 is reasonable for this.

Me mar had bought this because she's stupid. How can I cancel? Or do I just ignore if Orange call?
#18
