Good deal.

I bought the £210 offer from zavvi. Sold halo for £23, sold the HDD for £55 ...
Now playing Lost odyssey - superb game.

Sell all the extras you don't need and you'll get the console for peanuts!

Sold it on ebay.
I got lucky i guess as I wasn't expecting more than £35 for the drive. Perhaps the fact that it was brand new with warranty helped! Wasn't expecting more than about £15 for the game either. but hey ... not complaining. Even if you sell the drive for £35, Halo for £15 and Lost Odyssey for £15

That's 65 pounds off 195.... making the console ............ drumroll please .....

£130.

£30 off RRP.

takes a little effort, but i think it's worth it.

but i do recommend keeping the HDD if you haven't already got one. unless you have a memory card.

The comparison i just made is against the Arcade version which doesn't have the HDD nor the HD component video cable.

I got close to £30 for Lost Odyssey and almost £20 for Halo when I sold mine.

is it possible to "unplug" the drive and sell it?

or do you have to open up the console to to take the drive out?

It just 'pops' off the top, no unscrewing etc, its designed to pop on and off.

The consoles on sale now ( assuming not old stock ) are the newer 175Watt version. They are less likely to overheat and cause the problem earlier generations were plagued with.

Hope this helps/

My 3year old Xbox recently died, so I ordered the one on this deal: It includes HDMI and quidco has tracked making it about £123! bargain!

I would still give the edge to the high-street store deals even if slightly more expensive. I'd like the peace of mind knowing I can wonder into town and get it exchanged should there be a problem, hence why I'm getting mine from Zavvi next week :)

Still a hot deal though.

The prices work out to be similar anyway after you sell all the extras. But for some, the games & HDD might be welcome additions.

I've heard bad things about marshall ward. So some might not want to take the risk

Code not working for me, but presumably you went for the Arcade rather than the Premium to get that price?
