This is a good deal for anyone looking for some very good games on there new console, as Gears of War is the best game at the moment and Forza 2 is the best realistic racing game on the market but a great racer for everyone and Crackdown is a decent game.

I also recommend buying Boishock, as it's been rated as the perfect game.

The package is £279.99 including the 3 games and free delivery but if you're a student and have a UCAS card, then you can save a further 5%, dropping it to £265.99.

Includes Gears Of War
Includes Crackdown
Includes Forza Motorsport 2
Includes 20GB Hard Drive
Includes Wireless Controller
Includes Headset - Voice Communicator
Includes Component HD AV Cable (with SCART adaptor)

Hope that helps. :)

Wait for Bioshock and Halo 3 :)

Crackdown is pretty average and Forza 2 isn't that great either.

Your also better waiting for the new HDMI premiums which are actually reliable.

This is a good deal because the new price drop is actually £249.99 for the console, so for another £30, you're getting Gears of War, which is worth more than that itself plus Crackdown which i agree isn't the best game but it's fun for a while and Forza is very good, checkout all the reviews and you'll see it received rave reviews everywhere.

Also there's 3 years warranty included with all consoles and i heard they're starting to replace the motherboards for the faulty consoles to remove the problem, thusly, saving them money in the long run for repairs and giving you more reliable console.

Wait a few weeks and you'll get a better deal then :)

Also this isn't the new HDMI premium console, they are probably clearing out stock with deals like these to get the new versions in quicker.

Good, but not great. Wait till this Friday and you can get great games :)

I don't think its a great deal at all really. Not a bad deal but not great.

I paid £300 for a Premium + extra wireless controller + 3 games just before last christmas. So what you are saying is in 9 months you get a £20 reduction for losing the 2nd controller... not really a great deal imho.

Crackdown is a bit of a letdown too

But i'm sure the games weren't as good from the xmas deal, you have to look at the games included and i know you've included PGR3 and live arcade and the wireless controller, which shopto were selling that bundle for £25 a short while ago, so in reality, this is a much better deal.

Yes, i'm sure different deals will come along which will probably be better value but this is the best games collection of quality games included, as i'm sure you're aware, companies include either games that don't sell or cheap games in bundles.

Also, how can you say these aren't great games, when it's a known fact that Gears of War is the best game available on the 360 and Forza 2 is the best racing game, crackdown is just a bit of fun but can easily be sold.

Sorry, this isnt too hot IMHO, i paid £280 months ago for my Premium with two decent games, you are only getting one extra here and on Friday the package will be £30 less, so you are effectively paying for that extra game by buying now. I'd be pateint and wait for the HDMI package with a more reliable design.

If you want a 360 now and cant wait for HDMI to trickle to the market then this isnt a bad price..... and to the guy who thinks Forza isnt very good, that is just rubbish am afraid. Sure it may not be your bag, but it IS the best racing SIM out on console at the moment......... Accuracy wise its no R Factor, GTR2 or GP Legends, but then if it was i dont think it would have sold well as it just wouldnt work on a pad which many people still use, and also it would be too hard for the average console gamer (myself included)

BUT it whoops Gran.... hit everything at 150mph without penalty Turismo imo.

I got an Xbox 360 Premium, extra controller, COD3, GOW, Dead Rising and GRAW for £310 from PC World begining of December last year.

If you go in to the stores and speak to one of the people there you can usaully blag them for free stuff. I got an extra contoller for free.

Fyi it's an ISIC/NUS card; not a UCAS card. Just incase anyone gets confused.

But what confuses me most is; where do you put in your student discount details? I wasn't aware play.com did such a thing?

This ain't that great.

I got my Xbox at Christmas for £265 (including NUS) at Virgin Megastores:

Any 3 Games
2 Controllers (One Wired)
Usual Xbox 360 Premium Contents

Regardless of NUS, the deal was £299
