Xbox 360 Pro (60GB) £144.71 - Instore @ Tesco

I was in my local Tesco store this evening and saw the 360 Pro (60GB) advertised for £144.71. Good price for the 60GB console I reckon (now the Sainsburys deal has finished). Don't know if the same deal is available in all stores but I don't see why not. The store I was in was Barton Upon Humber by the way

To sell in their own stores :whistling:

Apparently Game send their employees out to buy all the cheap stock and then sell it on at their prices in their shops!

This is a good deal but don't think it's as good as the Gamestation one that included a wireless controller and FIFA 09 for £180. Can't wait for Xmas day and taking on the boy!

the price sticker looks so plain. they should have a big yellow special offer sticker there.

the plain one is good, it means the change is permanent and not a sale price.

Would PC World do it for a further 10% off, if you quoted the Tesco price?
#16
£169.71 online though on Tesco.com, so must be a deal instore

You would get a £10 e-voucher for spending over £100, so if there is a discount code that works may get nearly the same price

Thanks for the post zAndy1 :)

I've added the retailer name to the title, please try to remember to include this ...

can anyone who has bought one of these reduced price 360's from Tesco's give us some details of the manufacturing lot numbers please, they're on the back of the console on a stiker should be some thing like "0834", also the wattage power rating of the power supply would be useful. Let's find a Jasper!

Great deal too, even better than the Sainsbury's price a few weeks back
#21
Just checked my local store and it's £169, evidently not a nationwide price.
#22
do tescos have any kind of price promise,as i also just bought a 360 from tesco online, for the normal price?
cheers for any help:-)
banned#23
Nice find - PC World won't 10% price promise it UNLESS you've already bought one though and go back with proof of the price (tried it on a router).
#24
Nah they say that to try and fob you off.
#25
COLD - I was in store and they have the 20G at this price and the 60G at £169 - this is just a case of wrong box, wrong price tag
#26
Has anybody been able to purchase the 60GB at this price?

Well I'm only going off what I saw in my local Tesco in Bow, London on Sunday they were priced as follows

Arcade - £129
60G Pro - £169
20G Pro - £144

The price tag on the photo doesn't specify HDD size, so could conceivably be in the wrong place, has anyone actually bought one yet?
#31
says pro on it i think thats the 60gb one aint it?
#32
Am loving this. Our local Tesco stores are both rubbish for Electricals. Their price is still £169.99....... So cold from me, not that it would make any difference, well done on getting a flaming hot deal on something not able to confirm as across the board!!!!
#33
I saw the 60GB about 2 weeks ago for £144.71 in Tesco in Aylesbury but they were out of stock...
Got one from Comet for £169.99with Halo 3 (reserved online collected in store)...
#34
Hmmm 'Electricals' ... I see the Comet made up word is spreading nicely across the nation.

As for Tescos - they seem to never have any stock of these whenever they are on offer - very annoying.

As for GAME buying the stocks I could easily believe it - afterall they know a thing or two about ripping off the public with their forced bundles at inflated prices.
#35
Expiring this as I've been back tonight to check the price again and that display isn't there anymore. It's now an offer of a free selected game with the 360 and it was priced at £169.99
