Seems about 50 or 60 pounds cheaper than anywhere else.

I didnt try to buy because i allready have a 360 so it could just be a misprice.

Deal was at Hayes Tescos by the International market but could be nationwide.

did you notice if it was the old 'core' system without hdmi?
#2
either way core or not, its a hot deal if confirmed.
#3
The OP did say Xbox Pro package, and usually that's the one with 20gb HDD isn't it? So long as it isn't old stock, they should have HDMI right?
I own a Arcade model. HDMI is so essential.;-)
#4
Not in Grimsby
#5
'Pro' should have HDMI, Older 'Core' and 'Premium' do not have HDMI.

Either way hot deal.
#6
not in cheshunt
#7
Not in cardiff extra
#8
Non HDMI are all but gone, it would be very unlikely to not have HDMI, just look on the box for the HDMI Logo................. HOT.....

No problem, bargain, sad its not in my local store
#12
hot if can get it. sell the game, 360 for 100 squid.
#13
Games worth about £10 max - They've got 'bundle copy' written across the cover.

The console would be worth it, if not to have as a 2nd console to 'test' games out on. ;-)

Pity I'm absolutley skint after forking out £1,600 today for a new boiler fitting
#14
Very good price even if it's not got the HDMI port.. Voted Hot !
#15
oh well it would still be cheaper than an arcade!
#16
Impressive find! Would be amazing to come across this while on a shopping trip.
#17
Can someone confirm if this has the HDMI port?

Yes it does
#19
so who has found them at this price instock?
#20
Pro and Premium are just what people are calling them. The actual middle tier console is just the Xbox 360.
#21
Hmmm I can get to Hayes tomorrow, might have a gander.

op says pro!
#23
It's the pro system because you can see from the photo that the DVD drive is silver - The core system has a plain while DVD drive...

never? :whistling:

might be the old premium :w00t:
#25
Has this been confirmed by anyone else?
#26
Had a look round the Peterborough Hampton superstore and didn't see this. Asked the clerk about 360 bundles, but they just had the standard Arcade, 360 and Elite consoles :(

The normal 360 Pro with Hard Drive etc was £194!! So this is a bargain for anyone that manages to get it.
#27
could well be a display model??
#28
To those lucky enough to get a unit, loom for the HDMI logo on the box. Regardless you can still view HD footage without HDMI and at this price i'd say it might be worth missing out on HDMI if its just for the kids.

HDMI or not the HD component can pump out 1080i / 1080p / 720p plus 5.1

HD VGA can pump out 1080i / 720p plus 5.1 so HDMI is really not necessary

1920x1080 vga isnt interlaced

and never has been

any vga resolution 800x600 or over isnt interlaced
640x480 can be interlaced or not interlaced

but the 360 only does non interlaced on vga anyway

Its not just adding a HDMI port that is good about the 'new' one. There is also smaller components, better cooling etc all to reduce possibility of ring of death But the only visible way of seeing is that the model has HDMI and uses less power than the old.
#32
well id be happy with it as at least it would be ok to flash , not like the new ones out with the totally un flashable liteon drives in .
#33
I'm anti-360.. but I'd happily buy one at this price, if only to play Ninja Gaiden 2 and a few others.

Probably a misprice, I say.

Even if its a misprice...they have to honour it when on display by law as its the price shown. had that happen once :whistling::whistling::whistling:

Just been to my local alfreton store and they didnt have this deal, was only pro at £194.

Will check either Mansfield/Hucknall tomorrow.

Anyone else had any luck?
#36
Will check my tescos out tomorrow for this, hope they've got them in at that price if so will grab one.But then again if they display that price and when i pay for it it's more don't you get the item free still at tescos
#37
i was wondering why someone said HDMI was essential because its not i have a core system what ive had for ages and as someone said it pumps 1080p so it doesnt matter about HDMI and ive got 2 toshiba Zseries and a panasonic lcd and i also have the HD-DVD drive and the picture is stunning on componant so you clearly dont know what your talking about.

i garantee you that they do not need to honour anything, thats a common misconception but tesco policy would be to sell it to you at that price
