  However, all Xbox 360 Pro's should have an HDMI port and should also feature a new heatsink on the 90nm chip which will stop the RROD. It should also not scratch disks and it has been said it is not as loud as the previous consoles.

  The Elite had this new motherboard revision first, the Premiums are now getting it - aside from the obvious HDMI port, the power delivery has been changed slightly and the CPU/GPU have been expoxied to the main board to prevent the PCB warping and breaking the BGA contacts which is what generally causes the RROD. Whether it works or not is something only time can really tell.

  You would still need the addon drive to play HD DvD discs, I think this is to keep the console costs down. Though they should make a xbox 360 with the HD drive just to anony sony lol :-D

  Yeah they should include a hd player, maybe they could also include wi-fi as well as not charge you to play on line, that would really show sony.

  XBOX live is better than sony hashed attempt simply because we do pay for it. The wifi and hd dvd are very good ideas, bring it up at the meeting!

  I'm quite happy paying for Live. It's an excellent service.
  
  TBH my PS3 has trouble connecting to the internet most of the time, while my Wii, DS, Laptop and 2nd PC are all fine.
  
  Sony has a long way to go with online, but hey it's free.
  
  We should keep this on topic before it gets into another of those PS3 vs 360 posts...!
